Endurance Racing Legends at Circuit Paul Ricard: Saleen S7-R, Diablo GT1, 333 SP, C6.R GT2, R8 LMP!

Endurance Racing Legends is the most modern racing series of the Peter Auto historic weekends and it's intended for GT1, GT2, GTE-class cars and for the old, iconic LMPs and sports prototypes which have been on international circuits from the second half of the 90s up to present day. Here's some action I recorded at Circuit Paul Ricard for the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Dix Mille Tours by Peter Auto! Could this be the best sounding championship currently?

I have seen that Corvette live winning races at Spa and Zolder. Thx Bozzy, for this wonderful revival. This video is a feast for the eyes and ears and the perfect night cap. Brings back lovely memories of the time I visited the GT races at Spa and Zolder. As I get older, the love for this generation of race cars only grows bigger. The absolute best “modern” class to watch live (or KZbin). So. Many. Engines! Spent a few hours roaming a Portimao race weekend last year, endurance legends was a highlight but this event seems to have been even more packed with epic race cars. I am curious about Diablo Jota GT1 LM , did you have any videos of it?

Not yet, unfortunately. But I hope that something can be done this year, as I talked to one of the current owners and the team which manages it now. From what they told me it was commissioned by Lamborghini itself in 1995 to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car was build by UK-based Amos International Motorsport while the first shakedown of the car was entrusted to the ex Larousse F1 team. Unfortunately after this first test some legal disputes inside Lamborghini and then between both Lamborghini and Amos International led to the entire project ending shortly before the race (and if that wasn't enough, the Diablo GT1 didn't pass the early technical checks due to the engine being mounted in a different orientation to the Diablo road-going car it was based on). It was later acquired by the South-African Lamborghini importer and it remained there until a few years ago
