Three incredible track-focused supercars, going head-to-head over the quarter-mile! Mat’s sitting in the Ferrari F8 Tributo, and this week he’s lining up alongside a McLaren 765LT and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
All 3 of these cars are packing some serious power! Starting with the Ferrari F8 Tributo, it’s powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 720hp & 770Nm of torque. It weighs in at 1,435kg - slightly more than the McLaren 765LT, which is 1,339kg! The McLaren’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 puts down an impressive 765hp & 800Nm.
And then finally we have the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which is the heaviest car in this line-up, topping the scales at 1,470kg. The GT2 RS has a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 700hp & 750Nm, making it the least powerful car here, too.

They're all winners in my eyes. When McLaren says 765hp, they mean that as a bare minimum, it's likely more than 800. The Porsche is half a gen behind, but their drivetrains are so capable that it's worth an extra 50hp with a bonus of phenomenal traction. And that Ferrari is a base spec vs two track spec cars yet it didn't exactly embarass itself.

Some things to think about: both the 765LT and the GT2RS have huge amounts of aero (and thus drag), so their performance against the F8 has to be well-respected. But, as much as I love all three cars, it has to be the F8 for me personally. The 765LT and GT2RS are heavily compromised vehicles. Both are exceptional around a track and offer better pure driver experiences - but the F8 costs less than either of them and manages to keep up well considering it maintains daily driveability. You wouldn't hate yourself after 2 hours of driving down British roads in the F8 unlike the other 2 cars, and yet it will still perform the way that you want it to when you decide to have a bit of fun. It just about loses to 2 of the most extreme vehicles produced by 2 very reputable and competent car brands - but will just about beat everything else. It's so well-rounded and lacks any serious flaws, that is something that you just have to applaud Ferrari for. The only complaint with the F8 would be its aluminium chasis - but the fact that it is still able to compete with the best of the best despite its almost ancient platform just inspires even more awe. Best CAR in modern times - by far.

@@omerfarukcan4407 maybe in race mod it will spin its wheels too much Maybe that's the reason it will be slower in Race mode and faster in sport mode Because check GTBoard channel he raced 992 turbo S and F8 tributo in race mode the Turbo S won the rolling race Because F8 tributo was spinning hard upto 200 kmph he said that's a lot of spin In general The 488 pista is faster than F8 tributo Because pista easily beats 992 turbo S in roll race it give neck and neck fight to 720S While 720S smoked F8 tributo in every channel as you may have seen

I don't know if the driver didn't do it justice or what; But the 765LT can easily run sub 10 down a 1/4 mile; 10.1 seconds was a little bit too much.

Something suspicious about that porsche’s top end. Stock for stock it gets walked by a regular 720s, so it should never be close to a 765 which is MUCH faster.

@@DevKumar-bi2ld Literally. It can’t pull any gap, the F8 traps 140+ in the 1/4 mile, the GT2 RS traps 139. And the F8 literally gets to 100mph quicker, and any speed above that.
