I felt a little bad for Carlos Sainz in the beginning but Ferrari made the right decision I think. I'm not worried for Carlos as he will not have a hard time trying to find another seat as he is performing pretty well. 2:49, I agree. Ocon is underrated and gets way too much hate.

Agree on the fact that Ocon is over hated, but he is a good driver, that is why he is underated. As regards Ferrari, i dont think they made a bad decision, it is Lewis Hamilton not a random driver. He will bring experience and engineers who would love to work with him. The only thing i am worried is who is gonna be the first driver (if we have one), because Leclerc is brilliant and his qualifying laps are amazing.

I think they made the right decision,sainz is really good,but he has to prove himself this season because he doesn't have a seat,he has to as quick as he possibly can to get a good seat next year. Lewis isn't even trying this season,he knows merc will never support him,so he will put minimal effort into his quali sessions and races.

@AngryChineseWoman although true, the winning margins shrunk and even reversed this year. You can see sainz getting more and more comfortable as time goes on (he won last year). It seems like leclerc makes more mistakes than sainz when hes ahead or chasing for the lead.

@@AngryChineseWoman 2022 was the Max vs Charles year so naturally Ferrari's strategy for Sainz was to defend, and in 2023 they were 6 points apart - if he didn't get the Las Vegas penalty he would've easily outranked Charles. Your point is dumb...

@@AngryChineseWoman Leclerc was way more unlucky than Sainz was in 2023. He DNFed so much due to issues out of his control and still beat Sainz. Yeah the gap was small, but he did better.

Saying hiring Lewis freaking Hamilton is a mistake might be the craziest thing ive ever heard. Yeah he's old, but he keeps himself in such good shape he hasn't lost a step. Sainz is having his best start to an F1 season ever and as a Red Bull fan, he's who I'm lobbying pretty hard for to drive for them next year. But, Lewis is Lewis. Even if he's washed, which i dont think he is, combining the Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari brands is marketing gold that has already boosted the stock price and he's not even of the payroll yet!
