Are you using acrylic paint in all of your videos? Can you use enamel? I’m really interested in starting model cars up as a hobby and would like some insight! Thanks in advance!

It is more complex than just acrylic vs enamel ( you can do acrylics with an laquer thiner). Its all about you, your skill and what is available for you. Enamel CAN spray more smoothly from an airbrush but its nothing you cant achieve with some acrylics and buffing/ wet sanding. Spray can can also give you great results for the body work. Now if your starting I recommend you go with acrylic. They are easier to clean, less toxic until you get a proper paint booth and imho more forgiving.

Metallic paint does not work very well on scale models. It does not seem natural as the "glitter" becomes far too large in relation to the car.
