From what I understand zabaz specifically says "if a triggered modular ability would put counters". When the creature enters modular is a static ability and when it dies modular is a triggered ability

Just a heads up, don't think Chandler could have cast natural order when he did. The lands enter during Ethan upkeep, making lotus cobra add mana in his upkeep, and natural order is a sorcery, so the mana would have fizzled by main phase 1. Still love the vids, and sorry for being a rules lawyer, just trying to help you all catch them in future vids.

I went back to check, and after the land came in from Search for Tomorrow, Chandler had played another land for turn during his main phase. Lotus Cobra make a mana and then he tapped a forest and sol ring to get the four mana he needed. I do appreciate it though. We definitely want our viewers to call us out when we make mistakes.
