Ferrovia Roma - Lido di Ostia - Terrible Trains

A look at the Roma to Cristoforo Colombo suburban line on Wednesday 6th May 2015. The trains are in a disgraceful condition as will be seen.

Se sei un vero intenditore dovresti sapere che le 500 sono le uniche a non chiamarsi mr. Si chiamano 500 e basta, anche se non ho mai capito il perché. Per me potrebbero benissimo rimetterle, sono il miglior treno che ci sia per la Lido.

This train line is consistantly ranked as THE worst in the whole country haha. Tho now it got better: most trains were replaced with new ones, tracks and stations have been modernized, and they are planning to transform it into a subway line.

Martin Miller the new major of Rome is amazing and have great plans on public transports on the metropolitan city of Rome (which is now old and obercrowded)

yes, definitely. ive been in rome last weekend and visited ostia twice via train i noticed all the station signs have a modern design now, but the main difference is i only got on modern trains, and none of those had graffiti, also all oncoming trains wer modern ones and there were only some with small grafitti

Try to get into one of these everyday going to work when they're are full and disgusting smelly and dirty...and even you cannot brething fresh air during the hot summer neither can see nothing thru the windows... They still run old carriages from the 70's and 80's and the few new ones have been damaged with paint and signs after few days they're entered on duty..even you pay for the maintenance of these trains (or at least you should).. don't say bullshit please.

Daniele Giannantoni darling hahahaha i already do get in one of these everyday when they're full and on summer days because i live in Ostia and I study in Rome so I spend basically 2 hours every day on those trains and maybe that's why I like them so much I still think they're nice

2 ore al giorno sono il tempo minimo della roma lido SOLO PER ATTENDERE il treno..non a caso è la linea PEGGIORE D'ITALIA. Io il trenino l'ho preso per 15 anni per fare roma-ostia dato che ci vivo pure io...ed è universalmente riconosciuto da tutto il lazio che non esista linea peggiore. Oltretutto bisognerebbe prendere a calci sulle gengive i vandalizzatori che sgraffiano e imbrattano le vetture nuove di qualche anno... altro che carini e colorati. Si facessero un iscrizione all'accademia di belle arti se hanno la vocazione artistica..Se ti verniciassero la macchina vorrei vedere se sarebbe "so nice and colorful".... Non ve la prendete solo perchè l'americano di turno parla male dei servizi di Roma perche tanto c'è poco da fà...C'HANNO RAGIONE,FANNO CAGARE.

Used to go regular to Ostia back in the early 90’s, I had friends living there (Via Romagnoli) but it looks a total slum now.

Oh my god 😱 there are in terrible condition after all we are in Italy. O mio dio sono in condizioni terribili dopotutto siamo in Italia. I used to live nearby a few kms from there now I live near bologna here trains are in much better condition.

@@albertoperego3391 I don't like muslims so I won't defend them... But if there is one thing which is truly the fault of Italians, it's really the grafitti's. Everywhere in Italy, even where there's no immigrants, Italians people seems to like grafitti's that's all. I personnally think it's too bad because it ruins the beauty of everywhere they are.

Alessandro ASR nessuno getta merda....la mia e' una critica costruttiva non odio affatto roma... io ho usato la roma lido e mi chiedo perche' i responsabili dei depositi mezzi non vengano licenziati... per conciare i treni in quel modo ci vogliono ore da parte degli incivili graffittari... questo vuol dire che chi dovrebbe sorvegliare e' a casa a dormire la notte... qui a milano invece li beccano quasi sempre
