Travelling on the Portsmouth to Santander ferry in rough Seas.
Brief information travelling to Spain with Brittany Ferries. We paid £800 for a two day outbound and one day inbound two months later.
We have a six metre campervan secured below deck, fingers crossed. I hope we do not encounter any damage to our van life.
We are very happy with the cabin crew, staff and the ship is clean immaculately.
you can book a cabin room or sleep on the chairs provided. there is place to warm your food if needed.
Thank ypu very much for watching.

It was great to meet you both today. Pity we only got talking to you at the end of the voyage. Loved your video of the ship. You did well to keep it steady with it rolling side to side. Have a great time in Spain. Hope to meet up with youagain somewhere. Best wishes Alan and Jean

No, just googled it. The aft - Also known as the afterdeck - is at the rear of the boat, also called the stern. The poop deck is the aft-most, highest deck. In sailing ships it often forms the roof of a cabin in the stern. Ooh arr😎@@terry-wc9sw

the stern is the rear of the boat ,the bow is the front of boat ,it is not rough at all ,that is a very calm sea hardly any swell at all ,very windy yes ,I made many trips by ferry /ship/even worked on fishing boats overseas for crab etc ,now they are extreme weathers . when weather get bad ,etc anything over force six with high winds and deep swells is considered rough, your sea was about3/4 ,and besides the boats have stabilisers which are put into use when sea wells do get rough ,I have been in force 10/11/12 ,not very pleasant ,remember doing newhaven to dieppe one year ,started out force 8 ended up force 11, 2 miles from port as we entered port of dieppe the ferry tilted right over the outer harbour wall ,we thought we were going to overturn ,the ferry was not fitted with stabilisers ,,and it was same ferry returning too ,it was the old ,french ferry prince philippe run by stena line ,very scary going back too ,

It was rough to me, though at one point the ship furniture slid across the ship. Thank you for your comments 🙏 😊

@terry-wc9sw I don't tell lies my friend. Many people on board can voucher for the furniture sliding, and the plates fell off the selves.
