A lovely troop of wayside wanderers I see you were today. Loved the blue bellied skink, but not a fan of going on the water. Seasickness for me is a real thing, so I tried not to watch the ferry bobbing up and down too much. Your family reminds me of my growing up days with all my fellow siblings, we were a crowd all our own, seven kids and two adults makes for a real nice sized bunch. I always wondered what other people thought when we all piled out of the car?! ha ha ha That was back in the days of no seat-belts so we all just crammed in where we could. Dad loved taking us all over the place and I still have the fondest memories because of it. Thanks for another fine adventure!

Did you ever go to the fresh water lake at Gulf Shores state park? I used to go fishing in the boat house on the lake. Did real good with that. Then walk across the road to the gulf and the old casino foundations to catch some sun. We stayed on the park in the camp ground in an 1956 Airstream that belonged to my grandmother. That was our summers from 1967 to 1973. And I really do miss it.

So that was an awesome catch of a skink ,my Dad used to take my cousins and I out back of my Grandparents property by the RR Tracks looking for bluebelly lizards in California, fun fun times. Now I'm here in Colorado waiting out "the Virus" no fun!
