I only recently read about all of the various incidents that have occurred on Koh Tao in recent years! Very shocking to read after declaring it my favourite of the Thai islands.

I've been to almost all the islands of Thailand but I'll never set my foot in Koh Tao. Ever. It's not just about all the deaths, but more about the corruption and that crazy maffia family running the island. It's just something I wouldn't support. There are so many beautiful Islands in Thailand, and I would much rather spend my time and money on those other places.

We were on that boat with 2m waves last January (we were also at the top), and it was horrible! 🫣 People falling from their seat, throwing up, etc 🌊 Enjoy Koh Tao

Fortunately for us, the sailing itself was smooth… However the weather changed every few minutes from blistering sunshine to torrential downpours all paired with the insane wind from the sheer speed of the boat! Great experience though! Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼

The video title is a bit misleading, this is Ferry boarding in Chumphon bound to Koh-Tao. Just for note cause Chumphon is nowhere near Bangkok.
