Thanks for sharing that information. Our experience was that we did not see songthaew readily available in the area where we stayed. I read that they can easily be found around the ring road, but we just didn’t see them.

Thanks for this info about Koh Samui! We can fully appreciate needing time for travel planning! We are trying to finalize our December 2024 so we can mostly wrap up destination planning for the year. Of course that flows into 2025 planning, which I'd rather not get too immersed in yet! Where to next?

Travel planning is a never ending dance. We’ve been doing so many shorter stays this year that it’s been considerably more logistical work. We are just about to head to Kuala Lumpur for a month, followed by Indonesia for a couple months.

Indeed. Transportation and food were expensive. Our accommodations were not too bad. You can find less expensive food if you go to local restaurants rather than tourist restaurants. That’s what we did. Thanks for checking out our channel and commenting. 😊🙏
