Thanks for the update. Lochranza running this winter is good news and hope that continues.

Thanks Dave. The schedule seems acceptable at face value but we can’t ignore the fact that it’s being held together by an ancient (if willing) vessel and an expensive loan vessel. The Caledonian Isles endless repair schedule and the deployment of the almost mythical Glen Sannox (never mind the Glen Rosa) are quite outrageous. No wonder CalMac are skint when they are having to pour money into this stopgap service. I appreciate that the timetables are better than expected but let’s hear a fuller statement from CalMac. Meanwhile, thanks to the crew members for their hard work.

ridiculous that there's fewer sailings on a Saturday, the one day that most people can visit the island

Ha ha, yes. Imagine what would happen if I wasn''t bringing GOOD news!. Machine guns firing and grenades going off probably. 😁

😂 hahaha. But it won't come to that. The folks are grateful mostly . I have a question to ask please. Not related to this though. Can I ask you on this platform perhaps. Thank you. Cheers ❤

that is the most ridiculous story never ever heard.

Well then complain to CalMac about it, as Dave here is only stating the information that CalMac has provided for the Arran service.

It's the timetable for the Winter, just facts, You can read these ferry times on Calmac's website if it helps.

Thanks for the update but I don't think I'll be visiting during your winter. Coming from 35 degrees Aussie heat would be a big shock to the system.
