Infertility and pregnancy loss is unfortunately SO common but people typically don’t share their experience until they’ve come out on the other side of it (and I get it! I didn’t share my pregnancies until after the first trimester) You sharing your journey and the ups and downs of it all will help someone else feel less alone and isolated in their own journey. So kudos to you for being so open, honest and BRAVE 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If you turned up on surgery day to be confronted by the same surgeon as last time you'd be so upset...So stop being so bloody nice and tell them who you want to perform this important op...This is a business like any other and your paying the money so you are allowed your choice, especially after the fiasco last time that caused you so much pain and heartache. Mindy you said it yourself,YOU are your biggest advocate! I would absolutely request an earlier check as to not go beyond where your lining needs to be. Given the mess up with your ovulation at the beginning of the year I just wouldn’t take any chances! ❤️

Never imagined IVF journey could be this emotionally difficult and draining 🥺😰 my only advice to *try to stay relaxed * is to be more intentional about it, like, keeping your phone away 2 hours before bedtime, watch only movies that are joyful, read only things that make you happy… planning all of these ahead. Both my kids were born at 27 weeks gestation (not twins) and I had a completely random doctor deliver both of them! Can't even tell you their names never saw them before or since. Honestly I think people shouldn't put so much stock into your obgyn when the day comes you really don't care much who is staring at your vag!! I never had trouble getting pregnant but I couldn't stay pregnant so with my second pregnancy I had those progesterone shots and man those were thick! I would get welts afterward and itch! On another note, love watching your videos. I feel like I'm listening to a friend! Thank you for sharing your struggles! I am praying that you get that baby you are dreaming about soon!! ♡

Sorry to hear about your delay! I was praying your transfer would be on the 23rd with ours! Thanks for answering my question about how/when to share. It’s tough, but I’m like you in sharing everything that I think (for the most part 😉) I just did my first PIO shot this morning and omg it’s still burning me almost 2 hours later. I’m also terrified that at my final check on Monday my lining is going to be too thick, because it was 12.4 last week! 😳 ughhh- all the worries and emotions. Praying your check on Monday is perfection! 🙏🏻

So sorry your transfer has been pushed back. I had my transfer last month and my lining was only 6.5 but my nurse was happy with it, she said the most important thing is if it’s triple striped. Anyway it worked and I’m now 6 weeks pregnant. I have my first scan on December 2nd 🥰🤞

Good Morning! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I had my transfer in August and failed by first uterine lining at 7.99 and because it was under 8 they still wanted to re-check and increased by dose to 5 times a day as well. They want to be extremely thorough, and it is so hard to not over think things, but it will work out for you! Best of luck on your journey!

Hi Mindy, please make sure you're using the right Needle. Cause the P.I.O Needle is really not thick is blue. The Needle to extract the P.I.O is pink which you only use to extract the medicine. and it's pretty thick. Good luck on your next cycle and your lining is at least 8!

I remember all those emotions. It’s a roller coaster for sure. I have tiny hole in my arm from so many blood tests. It’s all worth it. Hang in there. Praying for a successful transfer this time.

I went through the fertility journey and it took a year before we could do our embryo transfer as there were so many set back. The hardest part was the two week wait after the embryo transfer to confirm pregnancy.

My lining wasn't thick enough on my first journey..and I have had MANY injections... enjoy the journey! .. Definitely a lot of ups and downs during IVF. I’m currently day 3 into my second round of egg retrieval injections after it failed the first time 😢 25 injections last month for nothing, praying this time I’m successful. My obgyn office makes you see at least 3 different doctors in the practice through out the pregnancy so if you aren’t able to have your Dr. when you’re in labor/delivery, you won’t be freaked out. Both of my sons were born early and on 2 different holiday weekends and my obgyn wasn’t available either time. I honestly didn’t mind and with the delivery of my 2nd son, the attending Dr. only made it in time for one push because he was only 2 pushes total! 🤣 Sending prayers your way for you to stay strong and calm. 🙏

Mindy, I had all five of my children with their OB my whole pregnancy and then it just so happened to be a fluke every pregnancy and every birth that the doctor that I’ve had all the way through was not able to deliver any of my children. I think I was comfortable with them delivering them only because I was already so far into my labor I had no choice.
