Hi Laura 😊 when I started working as a mechanic back in 1973 I was greasing a pickup for a owner of a tractor dealership as he watched me . He came over to me and said that I should be wipe off the dirt from each grease fitting . As I would be pushing dirt in with the grease causing more wear. Just some food for thought since that day. I've wiped off every grease fitting before greasing. 😊 Have a great day 💗 the channel 😊

I love watching Bells Farming with Molly Bell (a newbie farmer working on a smaller family farm working multiple fields and multiple corps. Comparing larger farms vs smaller farm operations and processes. Both are extremely labor intensive and as complicated at designing computer systems. Not simple nor easy. Both have the same risky business. Computer designs as well as farming both can make millions or lose millions. Fascinating!

I actually enjoyed you running through the numbers like you did, i'm kind of nerdy in that way 🙃 That was quite a rain storm you had that evening. I totally agree with your comments about the JD colors on that beautiful summer night - it was a gorgeous sight for sure. I really enjoyed Grant commenting about how easy it was at that time to see all the mistakes. The competitive greasing was fun also and I suspect your hands hurt and tried cramping up that evening 😉. Yours and Geirok Farms are my two favorite farming channels. I'm interested in yours because it is modern farming techniques but have a definite connection with the Geirok Farm. I was born and raised on a small 150 acre "all purpose" farm at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in New York. My parents tried to make a go of it as a boarding house for summer guests. The house itself could accommodate up to 25 people with lodging and 3 meals a day. Mom did most of the housekeeping (with one lady helper) and both her and Dad did the cooking. Dad did all the farm work. He grew much of the produce and raised a few cattle, a coupe dozen or more sheep, chickens and few pigs. It's amazing for me looking back at how much work they did. I was only a little guy (we left the farm when I was 8 due to Dad's failing health) but I cherish to this day the memories I have of the life and the animals as well as the values it taught me about nature and life in general. Wishing you both many fruitful and rewarding years ahead.
