FERZ or WAZIR?

The ferz and wazir are unorthodox chess pieces. The ferz moves diagonally one square and the wazir moves vertically or horizontally one square.

I tested it with a bot, in an empty board with just kings, you need 3 wazirs to checkmate, and 4 ferzes.

Vazir it's coming from Arabic language الوزير which means someone who helps the 🤴king, or in terms of todays politics, minister, like minister of education, or minister of defense , what about ferz?

Ferz is a queen piece name in russian Vazir is also queen in Uzbek.

I could not imagine playing old versions of chess where you have a ferz instead of a queen... But yea, the ferz is better in the beginning, but the wazir is slightly better towards the end, imo.

True Wazir is better than the ferz in most endgames cuz of the wazir's ability to restrict squares adjacent to the squares last restricted.
