FESTA IN ITALY vs FUN IN FRANCE! - Brocantes, Boats and Fireworks EP 196

On my journey from South Italy to England to visit my family I stopped at my friends house in Bar Le Duc. We went paddle boarding, kayaking, rummaged through brocantes and ate lots of baguettes and croissants before I carried on towards Calais and the Eurotunnel.
Meanwhile in Positano I was missing out on the Bluestar Family Day and the August public holiday, Ferragosto. Luckily for you Carlo was there to show us what happened!

I have been single since my divorce in 1976, my first trip alone was to London, France and Amsterdam. It was awesome. So many people treated me to meals because they wanted to know why I was traveling alone. It was such an adventure being alone I got to do all the things I wanted to do and I didn’t have to wait for someone else to get ready to go somewhere. I think you are finding out that traveling alone can be that great adventure. I am enjoying watching you discover that. Continue to have fun. It is wonderful that you have the choice to travel with your husband or go alone. He is a wonderful man and traveling alone can also make you appreciate him more!

Id have to agree, Carlo the drone shots of positano at dusk and during the fireworks were unbelievable, it felt like we were there, just wow. Well done Nicki you sure arrived in style. I love the fact that France still has her second-hand markets, they are good for everyone. I really enjoyed watching the swap meets, so much fun finding bargains and treasures from the past. I remember that about Italy, how they didn't have junk shops. When my husband's family would visit us here in Arizona from Italy, they would always want us to take them second hand shopping as here in Arizona we have hundreds of second hand shops. I would have really enjoyed going to a French yard sale.
