Festivál De La Gordita En Tepatepec Hidalgo

Hola Alberto. I wonder how many of Hidalgo's festivals have received the excellent Alberto video presentation, and how many are left? The church (San Agustin) dates from about 1745, based on a date on the vault of the coro. Another date on another vault says 1765 (perhaps one of the side chapels or sacristy, I'm not sure). I always enjoy seeing the churches (the gilded 18th century retablo along the nave wall is not exceptional but still nice to see- so many were destroyed in the 19th century when churches were "modernized"). I also enjoy your visits to the markets when there are still traces of native crafts. Some of the hats were very nice, although my preference would be a plain "Panama" hat from the Yucatan. And of course you can't resist the food. Sometimes I think your channel should be called "Comiendo Con Alberto". : ) You must be about ready to spend Christmas with your family. Buen viaje!
