Thank you so much for this design! I don’t have the patience or skills for making patchwork quilts, and have been searching for a project that replicates their vibrancy! Fingers crossed I can do this design justice.

By the time I heard of this CAL all the metropolis kits were sold out (Ireally liked the post cards and the mug). I don't like the boldness of the organicon plus I like my blankets woolly. So I did what everyone would do and decided to dye my own yarns (right?). I'm aiming for 50 different colours and am about half way done. Trying to replicate the light to dark rainbow theme of the metropolis. Though mine will be light to bright. My dyes don't work very well for dark. I'm dyeing 50g skeins so I'll end up with at least one blanket, maybe two, worth of leftovers.

The schematic is in the tips and tricks file here www.scheepjes.com/en/cals-and-mals/scheepjes-cals/scheepjes-festival-of-lights-cal/tips-and-tricks/ And the color placement table is the part 1 pattern file
