I'm surprised the engine just uses standard 20w-50 engine oil. Was expecting some fancy synthetic oil of some description.

We use it because of the Methanol. Methanol works well with this great of oil if you use a synthetic, it can turn into balls and go lump. we also use heavy duty Lucas Oil stabiliser
