Great picks! As someone who often does different polish for each hand, I think it helps to ease into it by having something tying them together, whether the polishes are in a similar finish or perhaps using the same topper. I think your red and green mani sounds awesome!

There’s something about a green flakie polish with Rogue’s Bed of Roses on top that just screams Christmas! I’ll be wearing that combo this season for sure. I use FG Electric Grass! Actually I think last year I used SH Chill Out underneath it too! Love your old school glitter crellies! Such nostalgia… 😊

Love your videos! As for your plans to mix it up and try different polishes on each hand-I know how you feel about it being possibly too weird. But I find that having a skittle or an accent nail is more unsettling when I look at my hands. I can get on board more if the hands are different but related- like your idea for a Xmas colors with the same finish. Idk g the same finish helps keep it cohesive. And then you’re using way more of your polishes!!! Can’t wait to see how it goes!

Gorgeous picks. I’m surprised you don’t have more reds since it’s your favorite but it’s always nice to change it up! Any recommendations for restoring XOXO? Mine is super dried up too and when I’ve tried to restore reflective glitter in the past the base I add and the drops just sit on top even after putting it through the pro shaker. 😢

Oh I’m sure I will pull a lot more reds! When I have really thick polishes to restore (like reflectives) I usually dump them into a medicine cup and then use my little hand held mixer I use for polish making. That way it gets a really good mix! I may have to do it for a few minutes in order to set a good restore

I fully endorse wearing two different manicures on each hand! I'm a huge fan. But I will say right away, people will stare at you. Some will approach you to have a conversation about it and I love that but some will just silently glare at you like a bug in their salad. You might think matching the finish (two shimmers) is the best method and that is good. But I think matching the opacity and the tone of the polishes is the most important aspect. For instance, if one of the polishes is a dusty colour, it might be wise to match that dustiness with the other polish. Equally so, you probably don't want to put an extremely saturated jewel tone polish on one hand and a sheer neutral on the other. I also like when the "extras" in a polish match the base of the other hand. So, if the base of one polish is a medium pink and the other hand has a shimmer or flaky that is pink, I feel like that ties them together thematically. I'm excited to hear about your newest polish adventure!
