Festool battery - Full Teardown

It would be usefull to breakdown the protocol on the serial interface. I have a new TPC 18/4 QUADRIVE that cannot use older batteries, since they don't communicate correctly. :/

Those thin cables are for BMS, and thermal sensor is breaking nothing, it is just for sensing and transmits temp to the tool. The path for the current is via large cable. There could be a fuse in the connection socket. Maybe there is no fuse.

It's not an expensive way o doing it! It is the only way to do it. You have to make a mold for each side. Even if they were completely symmetrical, they would still need one mold for each side. You don't wear two left shoes, right?
