Wera makes those adapters; they're amazing. I have a few of them in different lengths and they're always in my tool bag. I'm not sure if festool has the longer versions, but the 4" version is my most used. I love that they lock in the short 1" bits. Also, since watching your countersink video, I saw that amana has those nice countersinks with chucks that fit both centrotec and standard hex (pretty much the same as the parf guide drill bit), 55334. These days I don't use a traditional drill chuck that much. Really only for drilling dowel holes, and I think a couple of my kreg pocket hole drill bits are the older style with the round shank. Mostly just the hex chuck; in fact, that dewalt setup you showed in this video is my go-to 99% of the time. Looking forward to your new MFT setup.

I will have to look into those Wera adapters. I purchased my Amana's a while back. I wonder if the one you are speaking of was available then. I like my 4 foot by 8 foot MFT, but I can see value in having an MFT that I can reach across when I am completing a cross cut. Thanks as always for checking out the video.

Thank you for this video. I definitely feel the same way looking at how much I’ve invested into the Milwaukee M18 and M12 platforms I wish I’d just went into Festool and been fine with fewer batteries and fewer tools because I would have bought 2 or 3 drill/drivers instead of the 5 different tools on two different battery platforms to get to the same performance. Just like I love my TS75 and my Domino. Festool is expensive but they’re better tools too. Just like Hilti is pricier than red and yellow, and Dewalt and Milwaukee cost more than Ryobi, Kobalt or Craftsman. It gets so old hearing people constantly complain about the cost of Festool or Woodpecker or any other high end tool. Especially when the overwhelming majority of them have never actually used the products and are just complaining about it. There’s a reason they’re expensive and it’s not just because of the name. Just like if you ever actually get into a Lexus you’ll realize how much nicer it is than a Ford or Toyota and a Porsche or Rolls is on a different level than Lexus or Mercedes.

No problem. I agree with all of your points. Some people get triggered when they hear Festool. I try to ignore that kind of chatter. Thanks for taking the time to check out the video.

I live in Europe. My experience over decades is that every company has its great and not so great tools. I have used and owned tools from Hilti, Festool, Makita, Bosch, DEWALT and Miwaukee, and that statement holds true for all of them. I do not favour any one company, my principle is to use the right tool for the job.

@@tamasfarkas7970 100% the only real exception to that for me has to be with batteries. I don't have the money or desire to maintain half a dozen different battery platforms. Right now I have power tools from Festool, Milwaukee, Bosch, Rigid and Dewalt. All for different reasons and all are great tools. The one exception is that all my battery tools are Milwaukee (not counting my Ego equipment for yard work!). I'm going to start shifting that over to the Festool ecosystem but I'm not going to just get rid of all my Milwaukee stuff either. I'll hang on to at least some of it because they're great tools that can still serve a purpose, and the money is already spent. But I will also probably try to sell some of them to offset costs for any Festool I buy too... Haha!

Nice video. Just ordered my first Festool drill/driver. I went with the new CXS 18. It should arrive on Friday. I haven’t used the UJK Parf system. It looks like it is built very well. I used Festool’s LR 32 system to make the dogs for my workbench.

Nice. I want to try the LR32 method to see which one I prefer. Thanks for the compliment.

Easier fix to use any bit in centrotec. Quick spin on a bench grinder. It's even on the sedgetool channel. He's an actual Festool trainer.

Festool has always been an odd one for me, on one hand they look like a childs toy, but there quality is second to non. And they aint as flimsy as they look.

I agree. I thought the same thing when I purchased my first few Festool tools. The Festool CXS reminded me of an alien blaster from a video game I played years ago. Thanks for checking out the video.

Too much talking without showing anything. Don't keep emphasizing the obvious repeatedly like the prize. You didnt test out the accuracy of the bosch.

Thanks for taking the time to check out the video and for the constructive criticism. Can't promise that I will get better immediately. I do this less than part-time. My goal is to get better with in the time that I have to deploy to this venture. Regarding the Bosch. What are you talking about in particular? Part number and or name would be helpful.
