I think it’s a big miss that the new sys stack doesn’t fit the old systainer minis. I have tons of them and now they won’t work in it. Shouldn’t say it’s backwards compatible when it’s not

I DON'T BELIEVE HE SAID THEY WERE backwards compatible" WITH THE MINI'S. HE DID SAY THEY WERE "backwards compatible" WITH THE REGULAR SIZED SUSTAINERS AND THEY ARE. PERSONALLY I HAD TO REWIND THAT PART OF THE VIDEO TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTOOD WHAT HE WAS ACTULLY SAYING. LOOK AT THE MINI,THERE IS NO WAY TO STACK TWO SIDE BY SIDE INSIDE ANY REGULAR SIZED SYSTAINER. GOOD NEWS LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL OVER KZbin.

5:35 that is so true when I first retired from the military I spent maybe a lot on Festool and when I was working for a closet company they were so jealous. They didn’t want me to come on the jobs to train because all the people would asked me questions about my tools. And all they had was Milwaukee and DeWalt.😂😂😂😂❤🎉😢😅😊

The grid system is the worst thing festool has done, i cant believe some one green lit that design, the boxes are VERY annoying to align on the grid, and they have wasted space on every side where the boxes can move around, i really hope some one starts 3d printing better boxes or solutions for these, highly disappointed, not returning them though 😅

Totally agree. That’s a big downgrade. I have the old three drawer systainer and the tubs fit perfectly. When I saw the new design I actually bought another old version of the three drawer and managed to find one of the last ones for sale in the U.K.

I LIKE THE NEW 6 DOCK SYSTAINERS. I'VE ALWAYS HAD ISSUES WITH THE ROUTER SYSTAINERS, NEVER HOLDING ALL THE MANY ACCESSORIES. I ALSO THINK IT IS A LACK OF FORSIGHT THAT THERE IS NOT SMALLER COLLETS (FRACTIONAL OR METRIC) AT LEAST DOWN TO 0.125" OR 3.0 OR 4.0MM AND WHY IS THE FESTOOL 10MM COLLET NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE OF1400 IN THE USA? NICE REVIEW OF THE SYSTAINERS BUT FESTOOL NEEDS TO BE MORE "SYS SPECIFIC" IN THEIR SYSTAINERS. I HAVE EVERY ACCESSORY FOR MY OF1010, SOME FIT THE MFK BUT SOME LIVE IN WASHED PEANUT BUTTER JARS INSIDE CABINET DRAWERS. I USED TO TEACH A CLASS ON WORKPLACE ORGINIZATION AND VISUAL CONTROLS BEFORE I RETIRED. FESTOOL IS NOT NEAR ANAL ENOUGH TO SUIT ME. MY U.S. AIRFORCE, 5 DRAW LISTA TOOL BOX HAD A LASER CUT FOAM SILLOUETT FOR EVERY TOOL ASSIGNED TO THE BOX. EACH TOOL WAS LASER ETCHED WITH IT'S UNIQUE TOOL BOX NUMBER. OVERKILL YOU SAY? NOT WHEN ONE LOST TOOL COULD TAKE DOWN A ENTIRE MULTIMILLION $$ WEAPONS PLATFORM AND IT'S CREW. I REALLY LIKE THE FESTOOL SYSTEM SYSTAINERS, BUT THEY COULD AND SHOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CURRENT HAPHAZARD OFFERINGS IN CARDBOARD BOXES AND BUBBLE PACK PLASTIC. GETTING A BIT BETTER, JUST NOT FAST ENOUGH. PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, VERY GOOD INFORMATION AS ALWAYS.
