This clash was to nice 👌 we know they are both foundation but inna di ring ah no fren ting , strictly fire 🔥 shots , but if I had to pick i would say its nasty rockers gaffa blue and his Mike man ( he's funny ) but gaffa went outside the box 📦 with music 🎶 ideas , the romain Virgo on the Mr boss man rydim by cultural roots was different, like the ideas but it never really fit da rydim, but the idea was there , now wen gaffa blue played the Luciano dub on the " TROUBLED WORLD 🌎 " rydim was a tuff rydim , the mix of the actual dub was cold 🥶, but respect to all of the sound man dem , honour 🎖 to all of you , but gaffa tek it , festus was playing some regular rydims to me and the dubs never really moved me and a bit dull 😑 but honoured to festus ...PEACE ✌

I think fada fes should of played his original box he's not up to the new stuff and it shows. Gaffa you got my vote for out playing his box easily. On saying this coxons man, he was arguably the greatest selector out of 20th century in my opinion when we had great reggae riddims and sound systems unlike now sadly.

Don Sinclair. Well done! A brilliant clash. Nasty Rockers (Gaffa Blue, Tony Francis) are great engaging entertainers. Both were respectful to Festus Coxsone, defended their corner well, and paid tributes to foundation sounds. Festus was clearly troubled by the Rockers, for reasons unknown, he believes he's the world's greatest selecter, he's one of the greats, but not the greatest. Strangely he paid no respects to Lloyd Coxsone, without Lloyd he would not have achieved his position in the world of sound systems. Festus leave the new tunes to current and new generations, everyone in life has their time!

Festus is far above due to the sound quality of his dubs,and personally the female dub he played kill all the selection of NastyRockers and i dont speak about the Luciano on the billiejean riddim just after.....my vote go to Coxsone but i havé to admit NastyRockers is a tuff sound,big DonSinclair for entertainment !

This format don't really work. Clash without crowd is not easy- Barry G "versus" Rodigan in the 80s pulled it off on the radio but usually the vibes have to come from the crowd. Killer dubs still.

There was a time when young selecters wanted to be like Festus, and history will show that no other sound in England did more for reggae music than the great Sir Coxsone sound system. It's sad to see Festus without Loydie Coxsone, who does not like fact his name is being used...cutting cheap dubs and playing on laptop is alright for Nasty Rockers..but Festus is bigger than this.As a soundman and a fan of Coxsone, this is very big drop is standard.
