Fetch Option Prices in Google Sheets for Free!

Hello everyone! Unfortunately we're experiencing some issues extracting information from YahooFinance at the moment. For now, only the manual tracking works for this particular tracker. Will keep you updated once a proper solution is achieved. Cheers, PF.

Hi I'm Italian. Your videos are phenomenal. You have potential for these trackers creations in Google Sheets. Strange that your page has few subscribers, perhaps little visibility in finance. More visibility would be needed and I hope you will grow more over time. I noticed that some of his formulas in google sheets don't work in Italy, for example the punctuation of our decimals is different! I hope that in your next plans you will also develop for European and above all Italian stocks, also for fundamental analyses. For financial data such as income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, analyses, statistics, etc etc note the Wisesheets page which is an incubator of imported data. Good luck!

Apologies for the delayed reply, I missed this notification.I really appreciate your positive feedback on my trackers, very happy it's reached all the way to Italy! Yes, I've had a customer from Romania who mentioned a similar thing and I assisted in checking the punctuation conversion so it would work there. In terms of European stocks, many of my trackers do work, such as the portfolio tracker as long as you enter the exchange symbol in front or the correct syntax found in Yahoo Finance. Shouldn't you remove the Refresh Option Prices checkbox from the Dashboard (Manual) tab? By the way, in the current 2024 Sheets version you can remove the y-axis from the Win/Loss stacked bar chart by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the Setup/Y-axis box and selecting "Remove".

Nice spreadsheet! I snagged a copy from your patreon and I am testing it now. So far so good. However, I find it awkward to manually transfer the option name. I had previously designed the following function call in one of my own sheets to avoid handling that beast of a code. Maybe someone finds it helpful. Note I have *not* put this through rigorous qa/qc, but so far it appears to work properly. Let these cells contain the four components of an option ID (addresses from my spreadsheet, not from this PF design) B5 ticker F5 option type code ( "C" or "P" ) G5 strike price (45.00) H5 expiration date expressed in Gsheets custom date format yymmdd To construct an option name: concatenate(upper(B5),left(H5,6),upper(F5),right(concatenate("00000",(100*G5),"0"),8)) I like this function because I find it more natural to handle the four ID variables rather than manually fetching the complete option name. cheers

Hey! This version allows you to enter currently only 1 contract until it expires. You can enter multiple quantities for the same contract but not repeat the contract. I'll add this as a feature in an upcoming version. Cheers!

At 8:56 I assume the blue "Dashboard (Automatic) is connecting to the other tab. How do I link the two together? I type exactly what you have but no colored link?
