Can't go wrong with Feuerschwanz (foy-air-shvantz)! They were founded as a parody band, to counterpart the (sometimes overly) serious German medieval folk scene. Over the years, they left the staright parody while keeping a mostly humorous or at least light hearted approach and evolved from accoustic folk over rock into metal. The early songs are very lyric driven, as silly, slippery and ambiguous as possible. Although every now and then, they have an actually serious song too, even back in the old days. While the original material is usually in German (with bits of Latin or Old Norse here and there), in 2020 they started doing covers in English too. Their best known cover is probably "Warriors of the World United" (original by the US true metal band Manowar) feat. Thomas Winkler (ex-Gloryhammer, Angus McSix), Saltatio Mortis (German medieval rock & metal band, in this case represented by singer Alea) & Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum). They also covered Ed Sheeran (I See Fire), ABBA (Gimme Gimme Gimme), The Weeknd (Blinding Lights) and the infamous "Dragostea Din Tei" (aka the Numa Numa song), original by the Moldovan boy group O-Zone, too name just a few.
