After all these years Cass is still one of my favourite singers 😊

musicians from that era have said that initially they wanted to meet Michelle but once there were immediately attracted to Cass because of her personality and her voice- even today Cass is still remembered with love and affection!

@@merfgamgee9485 David Crosby,Graham Nash-that comment applies to Graham,he was touring LA with the Hollies and had heard and seen some of the artists and groups there including The Mamas and Papas and became quite friendly with them, particularly Cass there is a photo of Graham having lunch with her and this was one of many reasons why Graham left the Hollies in 1969-he wanted to EMBRACE the California lifestyle!

With all the insults Cass got about her weight it may have bothered her but it never stopped her from singing ,she was a woman of talent -a voice that made people listen and she had a 💟of gold, people who had the first laugh at her, had the last laugh when she got what she always wanted a standing ovation + applause from people who came to watch her perform in her shows, thank you Cass for singing those beautiful songs with that beautiful voice of yours, you may be gone but from me + others your not forgotten,R,I,p + god bless you, AMEN,💟😘🐦🌈🌸

Yes they would have. The two guys made a great sound. The females added a nice touch. But Cass"s voice was not exceptional or above special. Both girls were a nice added combo

@HippieChick1996 : The song is an old American Folk/ Gospel song called "Wake Me, Shake Me".(Not to be confused with "Shake Me. Wake Me" by The Four Tops). It has been recorded by many artists, in a variety of styles. You can find a few versions of it on KZbin.

This question is not meant to be rude: Can being overly big help contribute to a great voice, or is it just coincidence that happens now and then ? Great voice, I'm sorry she passed away too soon.
