It amazes me how 1000s of people down here are inspired and influenced by this toxic positivity. For someone who has followed you since Jan 2020, it is so difficult to sit and watch this reset, restart, complicate and glorify life un-necessarily. My biggest botheration is the effect it has on many young girls and women who start dreaming of such a life (even though you may have so many struggles in your own life), reality might be different. For example, this comments section is filled with people who have realized something very wrong they have been doing in their life currently....scrolling!

There are millions of subscribers on this channel who are eagerly waiting for this influencer’s videos, Shorts, or Reels first thing in the morning, before exams, or in between their daily routines. And yet, you mention that scrolling-something that’s become a huge part of social media today-is “hectic” and “addictive.” But didn't you, in part, contribute to this very issue? The influencer cycle itself seems to be a loop: start something new, create a fresh habit, plan it meticulously, decorate according to the season, introduce home gadgets that promise to make life easier, push challenges like 21, 75, or 100 days, promote fitness coaches, introduce morning and night skincare routines, and then revert to just recommending basic moisturizer and sunscreen. We also see influencers sharing personal struggles like OCD, seasonal depression, or iron deficiency. It becomes repetitive and predictable. Consistency is key for lifestyle influencers, right? But I also understand how hard it can be. I, too, have days where I’m off-track. But I continue to push through because I have responsibilities-work, family, life. You can’t just give up every time you feel emotionally or hormonally off-balance. I’ve always enjoyed Aishwarya's content and still respect her for raising awareness about issues like OCD and seasonal depression. Her accomplishments are impressive, and I’ve celebrated her milestones like finding a job and starting her makeup course. It’s not easy to put yourself out there, and I applaud her for that. But the reality is, I’m starting to get tired of seeing the same type of content over and over again. I’ve gone through the phase of being influenced too-buying items based on trust-and then realizing they were just part of an advertisement. Take the vitamin C serum, for example; I may be wrong, but I haven’t personally seen much benefit from it. To conclude, I believe the real issue isn’t that we’re addicted to Shorts or Reels; it’s that we’re addicted to our phones. If we stopped scrolling on Instagram or KZbin, we’d likely just turn to something else-maybe gaming, K drama for instance. Is that really a better option? The hard truth is, unless we consciously commit to using the time we save from scrolling in a productive way, it’s incredibly hard to break the habit. We just watch one subscriber’s shorts and then just keep our phone away and not scroll and check any other content. Is this genuine to your own art and community you are working for? I do not wish to engage more here. Good luck people. I plan to stay away from content like this consciously.

Ur view abt reels and shorts is absolutely right. I hve noticed the change in my 8 year old. Once she started watching shorts in youtube in tv.. she lost interest in kids movies or long videos. I hve uninstalled youtube frm tv .. now she watches only netflix kids. try reading about dopamine detox and how to manage that. could be that. we often forget to find happiness in small things - try this too hence. try to slow down a bit , when you are at home atleast . avoid multi tasking . analyse how many u can focus comfortably - example if u can comfortably focus only on two things at a time , do only two different things at a time. try to avoid seeing negative news in the social media - just read those enough to be aware about your surrondings , dont read deep into it. i had gone thru what you mentioned and tried all the above and it worked. you will hv to sit , think snd figure out whats bothering you and how to manage. u can speak get insight from your friends too.
