Garren Brooks It looked like overacting more then a struggle imo, but I'm sure you have made many cool and very original novelty items that could compare to that coo knife the ladies will surely like at his next party. I'll be a critic for your next video Garren Brooks .

Looks great, but using a hacksaw blade that rusts is not exactly smart

The transparent knife looks cool, but it doesn't seem very sharp. Also, will it survive the dishwasher and, most importantly, is it food safe with the saw blade (which will likely rust way quicker than a modern kitchen knife) and all the resin? I doubt it. I guess it's more a showpiece than actually useful.

Fully agree Shape and so on seems to be a major issue, too little metal to be resharpened, no additional hardening.

Plastic knife, not food safe, weak blade that will require constant sharpening and not last past a summer. Be better to grab the $2 cheap chef knife. The butcher blade. Did good until cutting unnecessary huge holes in a perfectly good blade. Also, any knife person worth their salt will til you doing a burn method for your handle is a terrible idea for lots of reasons. Video has good ideas and some things done right, but laced with useless, unnecessary, or "going too far" to make it useless. Chef knife at the end was the most right thing to do, except the burn handle.

3rd one: why sharpen with stone AFTER already sharpened with the knife sharpening system. 2nd and 3rd ones: why electrolysis if you're going to grind off the rust later? 2nd one: why drill out the big holes in the knife, it's irrelevant. Probably lighten the knife a bit. 1 st one: Plastic knife 🙄.... why? Just WHY?

@shalomrestored2180

La sal solo funciona como electrolito. Yo lo he hecho con 12 voltios a 50 amperes y con electrodos de acero inoxidable pero no estoy seguro si el usa lo mismo. Saludos

You should have used sodium bicarbonate as your electrolyte. Your choice of sodium chloride was a stupid idea. During electrolysis, not only are you producing a combustible mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gas, but the sodium chloride salt molecule breaks down and release its chlorine gas into the atmosphere. That gas is poisonous.

I keep a knife on me.. mostly for work. Always something needing cut.. that said. I want a strong sharp knife. Not one that's gonna break in my hand and possibly fck my hand up. Naw... Think I'll stick with my old time for a pocket knife.. when it come to a big knife.. my Bowie knife is all I need. It can cut mufflers and tomatoes.. I mean this looks cool I guess.. that all it's got going on for me tho. But I'ma dude. My kitchen knifes are just my old hunting knifes.. mostly. Got a few actual kitchen knifes.. but you'll catch me using my old skinning knife 90% of the time
