Great tip. Marinate for 3-4 hours or even longer. Drain well, flour then hard fry in small batches would be my preference. Then make a slow cooked casserole/ stew. Beer is a game changer for " average" beef. Bon apetit! :-) Aussie in Spain.

Since I started making Irish pub stew for St. Patrick s day instead of corned beef and cabbage, I've started using Guinness Stout a lot. Even for my corned beef. I also learned that like cooking with wine, if you won't drink it, don't cook with it. Same goes with beer, if you won't drink it, don't use it for marinate or cooking. Use what you like best. ❤

I tenderize beef by sprinkling it with baking soda. After 30 minutes I pour lemon juice over beef and rinse with cool water. Baking soda breaks down the meat and lemon juice prevents meat from tasting like baking soda. However, you cook the beef it will be tender.
@arsensaakyan6289Ай бұрын
For that you can use kosher salt.
@leighburville2717Ай бұрын
I massage the baking soda into beef, pork, or poultry for about 3 minutes and rinse it off thoroughly and then cook it as I wish and it is always tender.
