I might be buying one for me to run around to work in, and one as a birthday present for my sister. I also want to teach her to ride and I’m intermediate rider and was considering this. Would you recommend??
@DReidedStory2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. Great to learn on but you would have to change the jetting in the carb. Because they restrict them from factory to be legal to sale in all 50 states. But after that the "lack of power" will come to play when wanting highway speeds, it only maxes out at 65 to 70ish and not ideal for running those speed for long time. Other then that great for around the city or just to screw around on and practice wheelies or something.

@@DReidedStory thanks so much! I bought her the 2021 t4 and myself the 2022 t4 we mainly ride trails and wheelie and just mess around kinda. Thanks so much again!

Ok, so...seats...you're on a dirt bike, why you be sitting?!? LOL Secondly, get some brake snakes from rockymountain, also, some cheap grips while you're at it. I bought a crf250f, and have had to replace both the cheap brake lever _and_ shift lever. Brake snakes are a major lever saver.
@DReidedStory2 жыл бұрын
I take it to work a lot and through the city. That's why I "sit" on it. I also replaced the grips already with cheap Amazon ones that cost about 9 bucks. I have the same ones on my CBR as well. It gets the job done. But thank you for the suggestion I'll look them up! I really appreciate it.

I never had the K4, they didn't have it at the locations I went to. But I just uploaded an small update on the T4 with new jettings and it's still runs, even better with different jets.

I can't believe you're putting that garbage gas in your vehicle that stuff is grain based fuel not petroleum based. that will fuck your seals in your engine up as well as your carburetor.

@@DReidedStory lol. You must be one of those blue haired liberals because you got butt hurt real fast over fuel. Also yes I ride a sv650s and xt250. just letting you know that gas is grain based and not petroleum. engines don't really burn grain based fuel as well as they burn petroleum.

@@DReidedStory Here's my take...yea, I know, you didn't ask. For less than a gallon, you paid top dollar...but, how much cheap gas was still in the hose? I truly don't know. Where I live, I go to a station that has separate hoses for the premium, and if possible, get the 'no ethanol' premium. Then, I fill a 5 gallon tank, and whenever possible fill the bike from it. So, if I have no choice, I'll just get the cheapest, because these are relatively low compression engines, and, to be honest, it's 'probably' a waste of money to be putting 93 octane in them.. However, it's your money. I would be interested in knowing how much gas is actually in the hose, and pump mechanism, from the last customer.
@DReidedStory2 жыл бұрын
Good point. But sadly I live is a country style town with ok gas. But unfortunately all the pumps where I live are the double style or single style hoses, one for diesel and other for gas.
