deejay.de is really good. yeah and you're totally right, it's fucked up that labels release so called "vinyl only" stuff two months later on beatport. that's some wack moves from labels.. they basically lie to their customers/fans. perfect video my friend, you're a very sympathetic and down to earth guy. i had to figure out that stuff all by myself - spread the knowledge and culture.

thank you! just got into vinyl recently and didn't think about it that way! Bought two records from a small label in Berlin (Small Hours) which came with the digital format as well but also two EPs by Leo Pol from iile (France) which are exclusive vinyl releases as far as I know :)

Nice video and purchases. I try to buy mainly exclusive stuff but sometimes I'll get a copy of a classic record that also on digital. It's nice to have a lot of range on the shelves, from classics to new shit, so you can play any situation at a moment's notice. Don't forget about Yoyaku too :)
@distillednoise5 жыл бұрын
yessss man! you're right! if you only play with vinyls you need to have a lot of music, also those that come out both digital and analog! and yes! I love yoyaku style!

Will you do a video on how to rip vinyl to digital at high quality? Ripping vinyl via usb is always shit quality
@distillednoise5 жыл бұрын
To be honest I don't rip at high quality, first of all because I don't have an expensive cartirdge. Since i don't have a phono stage, I use the traktor audio interface which has phono stage included and then I record on Ableton.

@@distillednoise another question, could you please make a video about „How to tame analog synthesizers“ ? And why they‘re often hard to mix? Thanks in advance

@@distillednoise Ok. I have a Behringer Cat and it is always a mess to mix it. There is so much action in the spectrum, I don‘t know how to get it right without making it too thin. Love your videos, keep it up mate 👌

@@Krushtaar I'm not sure about how you could deal with it, I'm sorry. Maybe try with a low shelf rather than a cut on the lows. Thanks man I appreciate :)

New records from deejay.de, redeyerecords.co.uk or juno.co.uk if possible. They both provide outstanding service every time. I try to buy mostly from stores that have some sort of physical outlet, it just means that usually they have their infrastructure in order. Good video, glad KZbin recommended it to me - all the best and greetings from Copenhagen!

I respect the motive why you buy vinyl records, but I think that's a wrong reason. There're a lot of youtube channels and soundlcoud users that upload the tracks that come out on vinyl, and nowadays (correct me If I'm wrong) there're a lot of reasonable converters. A lot of people will not appreciate the difference between youtube mp3 converter to digital wav. format or vinyl(maybe this last no) in a club. I think that the esence of playing on vinyl is that is something special, elegant and with class, the dj roots. You can drive the same road at 60mph with a Fiat Panda or with a Lamborghini, but it's a total different way to do it.
@distillednoise5 жыл бұрын
Mmmm i can assure that i immediately notice when a track has been downloaded from you tube. Also, we are talking about legal ways to get music, you tube converters aren't.i respect your idea though

@@justassaltuska1328 When it comes to 320kbps mp3s i agree, but you really can hear the difference with lower quality than this!
