9:20 not sure if it's because of my monitors but the higher bass note is the one I can actually hear better in terms of low end. thanks for the video!

I dont get whay people keep trying to add new Genres to an already well defined genre. What youve made is HOUSE!!!!! Adjusting the swing groove doesnt make you a pioneer in a brand new undiscovered style of music , lol. Its all House.

Generally I dont see a host of people buying a cd of instrumental music or downloading instrumental music. Its usually a small percentage of people anyway and particularly in the U.S. My music is on Bandcamp and it may be likeable to a very small percentage of Prog Rock supporters. Short of that...what is the point? If you invest in recording equipment and or pay an engineer to master your stuff it should be because you have the desire to do it....but definitely not having expectations. You have to love music and not expect anything in return. If a few people enjoy your stuff that is enough. Its an art form not a cash register

Dear John, for a lot of people music is also work. I respect your point of view but there are lots of reasons why someone would want to monetize their music. And i think a good platform should help doing that.

Hi! I don't understand why I can't hear the sidechain from the kick on this sub control rack? If I put another compressor on the same track and turn on the sidechain, I can hear the bass ducking.

this is a good technique,the ableton stock saturation is dope,got features like soft clipping,analog clipping,digital clipping and much more i just mixed my kick drum now it was really peaky,the peaks were too much,the average volume was low and this saturator helped in the output knob i put my desired volume to -12 and started driving my kick until the peaks started getting tamed and boom!
@distillednoiseАй бұрын
Amazing!! And yes i use the stock ableton saturation pretty much for everything!

I'd love to see a video where you take the ideas out of maschine and try jamming into a full arrangement. I also bought a maschine to add some out of the box production tools to my workflow but unfortunately it's kind of become just a groovebox, and once I have a 16 bar loop I just bounce out stems and arrange in a computer.

Its basically multiband saturation. Nothing really new but still a good tip. For beginners be careful with this as this will destroy low end clarity if overdone and shouldn't be a staple for your bass. A dynamic eq after this in the low frequency area is good to tame the boomyness so it doesn't go out of control if in some parts its getting out of control
@JoshuaCalvar4 ай бұрын
one last thing this would work better in parallel
