The worst thing to me on Bandcamp is that if an artist or label decide to take their releases down it will remove them from your web account (but still be on the mobile app) which massively sucks. You also have stuff on your feed on your mobile app that you don't find on the web browser. Also the mobile app hasn't seen an update for a long time and needs new features like "add next to queue" and "save queue as playlist" and stuff like that.
@distillednoise13 күн бұрын
Didn’t know releases stayed on the mobile app! That’s weird!! Anyway yes, the mobile app is very limited and needs improvements

Amazing techniques and excellent track. I love Tantra as well as many other techniques in Ableton for minimal house. It’s a very deep genre for exploration.

Love seeing more Maschine + users out there! I bought mine to get away from Ableton creation flow and I almost always have fun banging out beats on the Maschine.

Probably the dynamic saturation should be used, only for loudest point of the transient. Otherwise, your sound is distorted and snare starts sounding differently, which might be not desirable.
@distillednoiseАй бұрын
100%, just the transient!

I play about with Ableton. I think mainly for escapism. Your videos are great. You present your ideas very well, and your videos are really easy to engage with. I suppose I am trying to say, "You embody this philosophy." I appreciate you.

Interesting. I have both Arturia and D16 clones, I prefer the D16 TB 303. Maybe because I'm into classic acid techno and it feels like it's aimed more towards that. I can't wait to get home and try this plugin. Thanks !

Never tried the D16 unfortunately! But loving the arturia’s one

Mastering with these monitors in a non soundproof room? That says a bit NO on behalf of the industry

I dont get whay people keep trying to add new Genres to an already well defined genre. What youve made is HOUSE!!!!! Adjusting the swing groove doesnt make you a pioneer in a brand new undiscovered style of music , lol. Its all House.

Generally I dont see a host of people buying a cd of instrumental music or downloading instrumental music. Its usually a small percentage of people anyway and particularly in the U.S. My music is on Bandcamp and it may be likeable to a very small percentage of Prog Rock supporters. Short of that...what is the point? If you invest in recording equipment and or pay an engineer to master your stuff it should be because you have the desire to do it....but definitely not having expectations. You have to love music and not expect anything in return. If a few people enjoy your stuff that is enough. Its an art form not a cash register
@distillednoise2 ай бұрын
Dear John, for a lot of people music is also work. I respect your point of view but there are lots of reasons why someone would want to monetize their music. And i think a good platform should help doing that.

Hi! I don't understand why I can't hear the sidechain from the kick on this sub control rack? If I put another compressor on the same track and turn on the sidechain, I can hear the bass ducking.

this is a good technique,the ableton stock saturation is dope,got features like soft clipping,analog clipping,digital clipping and much more i just mixed my kick drum now it was really peaky,the peaks were too much,the average volume was low and this saturator helped in the output knob i put my desired volume to -12 and started driving my kick until the peaks started getting tamed and boom!
@distillednoise3 ай бұрын
Amazing!! And yes i use the stock ableton saturation pretty much for everything!
