@ 4:00 Personally I would have just used the exponential expression for sin(x), this would make your integral expression a sim of exponential terms which are fairly easy to integrate

One problem I have with this method is that f(alpha) is well defined (in the Lebesgue sense) when the real part of alpha is strictly greater than zero: setting alpha to zero feels a bit like cheating

Do you have any double integrals in your integral book?

This method is NOT called "Feynman Integration" , IT'S CALLED *Leibniz Integral Rule* . GOTTFRIED LEIBNIZ *DISCOVERED* THE RULE, Feynman POPULARISED IT. THIS IS Leibniz's technique, NOT FEYNMAN'S. GIVE THE CREDIT TO THE RIGHT PERSON FOR GOODNESS SAKE 😡😡

Gottfried should have popularized it but was too busy writing love letters to Newton

@@kthegreat69420Literally EVERY MATH KZbinR is saying that this is called *Feynman's technique* which means they're all giving credit to Feynman. Who gives the credit to someone who didn't discover it??? Leibniz discovered the rule and everyone should give credit to him. But no one does. Enough is enough of giving someone the spotlight who didn't discover the thing!!!

@@mathscribbles Leibniz & Feynman lived in 2 very different centuries. Leibniz lived in a time when not even the telephone was evented, forget the TV, but Feynman had these digital resources and many more which were only a dream in Leibniz's time. So no wonder Feynman was able to popularise this but not Leibniz.
breaking this sucker down
