To be really honest Neelum's looks on all days were atrocious, I wouldn't have been so kind, as far as Maheen goes she had a couple of good looks, not all though. Watching from the UK, it's about time credit is given to people beyond drama actors and actresses and their eccentric fashion choices. Just because they wear outfits from Bollywood or high-end Pakistani designers doesn’t mean they carry them well or that such styles resonate with the majority of Pakistanis. After many years, Rajab Butt’s wedding stood out for embracing tradition and faith. He and his wife wore attire that the majority of Pakistanis would feel drawn to and comfortable wearing at any event. Hats off to Tabish for acknowledging Rajab Butt, regardless of status or class. On the other hand, Aamna’s comments came across as snobbish. While Aamna, in her 50s, might not enjoy the content of certain vlogs, the discussion was about fashion for all Pakistanis, across all classes. If a drama celebrity had worn the same outfits as Rajab Butt and his wife, I’m certain Aamna would have responded more positively. Showing skin isn’t everything, and fashion shouldn’t be judged solely by status or family background. Just like Yashma’s sister’s wedding was celebrated for its happiness and joy, others have the right to express their joy differently-whether through partying, wearing revealing clothes, or even drinking. Yet, Aamna’s disdain for someone outside the drama and movie industry was evident. Here’s a suggestion: if Mahira Khan wears a saree by Manish Malhotra, why not recommend an alternative by a Pakistani designer for those who can’t access Indian brands or afford them? What happened to promoting Pakistani fashion from all sectors, for the vast majority of Pakistanis?

Let's discuss Maheen's bridal looks. Unfortunately, none of her outfits stood out to me. From Mehndi to reception, I was underwhelmed by her outfit choices. The colors and cuts of her dresses lacked cohesion and failed to impress, falling flat at mediocre. I also want to comment on the fashion choices of some other celebrities. Despite praising modern fashion, some outfits, like those worn by Yashma and Hania, seemed immodest. The choli and lehenga combination didn't suit them, and it's not a traditional Pakistani look. I'm not trying to body shame, but some celebrities, like Ammar Khan and Yashma,Hania and others with choli looking so off with their tummies looking like they are tucked in forcefully. On the other hand, Neelum looked stunning in her traditional, modest attire. Her wedding was elegant and respectful, without excessive showmanship. Amna, I hope you can provide unbiased opinions on fashion and celebrity culture, considering our cultural values.

I read the comments and wasn’t sure why people are hating but after watching i lowkey agree. The “cool cats” club is always praised and even if their outfits are ugly it’s somehow justified. Maheen looks were also very basic and forgettable despite the resources and high end designers she had. You guys critique Emaan’s mayoon look and called it commercial and whatever but Dananeer’s lajwanti look was praised. Even tho they both look very similar. Personally both are pretty to me. Maheen Siddiqui's wedding looks were so blah and the bridal dresses also the worst from each designer's collection. Only her nikkah look was decent. The shendi/sangeet dress waa pretty but her hair were open and untidy. Why didn't you people criticize her then? Her reception outfit by Hussain Rehar was the worst. Did you guys even see the humongous flowers on that dupatta? They were hideous. And that Faraz Mannan barat dress was so average as well. Ok for a wedding guest maybe but not for the bride herself. And the MNR dress looked like the fabric had been purchased from a local pathan shop in the market and then stitched ( nothing wrong at all buying from there but even they have such beautiful fabrics these days). I was shocked to see the MNR label on that dress. The only really good look was the yellow outfit at the first dholki. On the other hand Neelam Muneer looked really pretty on her Nikkah, barat and Valima and all three outfits were both traditional and had some modern touch too.

Hello! I have been following you for years now! This episode was really insightful - I would love to hear more on bridal fashion because I really am anticipating for my wedding - which I don't see happening anytime soon but what harm is there in pre-planning :D - could you, alongside discussing bridal fashion, refer some of the affordable designers, or maybe some stylists too! And just my two cents over all the criticism going on in the comments upon the assumed duality of the hosts: critique was pointed towards the designers and not the bride; every point of critique ended with how Neelum made the dress look beautiful. I really hope and pray that the people of this country try to listen optimistically rather than listening solely to find some loopholes - let's just keep things simple, less problematic, and maybe for fun and information! Immense respect for Aamna for bringing forth genuine conversations not seen much and normalising them!

It was actually you or your team who used a clickbait thumbnail without properly discussing his wedding in the video. Dear Amina and Tabish, i work at one of the publications mentioned who posted about Neelum's husband's salary. Unfortunately, it came out wrong. When her photos came out, most Pakistanis labelled her a gold digger because initially, everyone thought she married an Emirati. Our team member shared that because his salary is actually pretty average and he's Pakistani- unlike the perception that was built. The post was removed after realising it was a blunder made. You guys make mistakes too, please stop labeling 'small' publications too - we work hard with the way too little resources
