Great video James... I follow your videos with interest. How about a video discussing van insurance, and maybe the best broker to use for the hire and reward insurance. GIT and public liability is slightly different because you can get that easily and cheaply enough from the internet. I use Admiral fir my hire and reward snd have done so for the last 3 years. Keep going young man 👍

I'd like the YT content creators to go through their thoughts on how their vehicle depreciation will stack up. I think that an owner operator can get themselves into a debt/rate desperation spiral if they get this part of the business wrong,especially with the price of vans now. Most now quite sensibly regard dead mileage as a van killer.... Good luck on the intermittant van fault....they are bastards. I had one on a Merc luton once...it plagued me for over 6 months.....main dealer and the lot....turned out to be a 10p plastice vacuum pipe partially melted near the heater matrix.

Yeh I had a 4m Crafter before ran it to 410,000 miles and replaced it with the Luton crafter

I reckon the backloads sector is only about 5% of the transport industry as approx 95% of the transport industry work wouldn't be listed on any backload website or app etc More and more of the youtuber courier's are starting to get their own customers these days and not needing to rely on the courier exchange as much
