Yep legendary introduced me (moreso lei) but when I really dug into the old archives and actually researched the people that actually started this ?? I found this to be way more entertaining and true to what ballroom was at its core. you can even tell the shift when it was pushed mainstream to the masses. It’s crazy bc I started loving lei and she was my fav at first but now my # 1s are from the 90s to very early 2000s era 😭 alloura, YOLANDA , meeka, daejsa , deedee, janese , Lola , Katrina, tamiyah , jasminnnneeee (ppl get at her but idk I love her).
