And yeah, I'll admit I did more than my share of hyping Manos, but even I'll admit that if you have a friend who's never seen MST3K, showing them Manos is the fastest way to get them disinterested.

This was really fun!. Screaming Skull is one of my favorites, though. Hearing Crow explode at the plodding pace always makes me laugh. The Teenage Strangler is another good silly one with all the over the top acting and hearing Yipe Stripes over everything the entire movie.

All of my favorites are on this list! I can quote the entire Soultaker episode by heart. Werewolf and Merlin's Shop are other favorites. I'm actually from El Paso where Manos was filmed and I'm friends with Jackie Neyman Jones who was the little girl in the film! Great list overall, CR!

Greetings fellow MST3K and Halloween fan., I grew up watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 when it was on Comedy Central., instantly became a FREAKING HUGE fan of this show., also Halloween is my personal favorite holiday., I strongly believe that Halloween shouldn't just be celebrated on the 31st of October., but all 31 days of October., I've started this tradition last year of putting up the decorations on the 1st so they can be up all month long.,,.

We decorated the house and I wore gloves and a mask to hand out candy. I mainly did it for Grandma. She love the Holidays. Not as many trick or treaters but I enjoyed the full moon.

Being From Another Planet. Originally titled Time Walker when Roger Corman released it to theaters and when he released it to home video. Corman didn't have tv rights,so it ended up on MST3K under a new title.

I have to give some of these episodes a watch one of these days. Another excellent place to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 is a place called PlutoTV. It's pretty much a free online TV service with MST3K having its very own station(channel 545 to be exact).

All I really know of Santo/Samson is "Vampire Women" so it's hard to imagine there's a franchise; it would seem like a Mexican Scooby Doo. But this is one of the best MST3K films, especially when Santo enters and Crow breaks up!

I love MST3K. And a lot of these would make good picks for a "Halloween Marathon". I will admit, I don't think Manos is as funny or as terrible as everyone else does. Make no mistake, Manos is godawful, but after seeing shit like The Castle Of Fu Manchu and Monster A Go-Go, every other film they riffed just seems like a masterpiece in comparison. I also found the riffing of stuff like Hobgoblins and Werewolf much funnier.

I'd add Screaming Skull, Unearthly, Teenage Werewolf and It Lives By Night, but it's hard to narrow it to 13 And while Manos is a great episode, it isn't in my top 10. maybe Top 20 or 30.

zombie nightmare has not a thrash metal soundtrack. Its Virgin steele, a heavy/ symphonic/ power metal band. Girl school, Glam / heavy metal, Motorhead Hard rock / heavy metal and other bands i cant recall. The Zombie is played By Canadian Heavy metal singer/performer Jon Mikl Thor

Episodes are usually about an hour and 40 minutes, which gets you the whole movie and some in-between segments. Naturally, the movies were sometimes edited down for TV, but you get the whole thing. If you can't invest that much time to start with, I'd suggest seeking out the short films they riff at the beginning of some episodes, and there's always best of compilations on KZbin.
