“There never was just one answer. Each life lives a different purpose. You collect pieces of happiness..just to lose them..and then you start again. On and on it goes, until death takes you into it’s sweet embrace.”

What a horrifying reality. Like a horror story where you are cursed to repeat the same hopeless task forever. Like many descriptions of Hell.
Remember the rain, near and far beloved Each drop a blessing from heavens abovе And how as time flowed on those watеrs became one Streams, rivers and lakes Reaching for the horizon and far beyond They carry onward however changed with each brief reflection, by setting sun By storm's wake Til welcomed home to gentle sea Hush, love, close your eyes, and in sleep abide As sun's distant light, echoes down to dreams, below Know you will wake, on winds rise again For this journey's end is but one step forward to tomorrow

Each drop in a lifestream of souls. Seems like a pretty small life to me.

@@solisimperium1203 It's a bit deeper than that, the title comes from the line in Flow "each drop a blessing from heavens above", and the whole rain metaphor in Flow is that the drops make up the little moments of a person's life. Also the official Japanese translation uses 命 in the "each drop" line so really they did the same reference in both languages
Yoshida's rule: Don't let a character lose his wife or husband, and don't promote the development of the plot. And the last person who died of his wife or husband will indirectly cause the next person to die of his wife or husband...😭
