Really helpful guide. I had to go with Tifa to heal using the lifeguard setup with tiger claw and Glenn and Zack as damage dealers using their ifrit wep+beach event weapons. It worked out fine and was able to take fire breach along too. Ice age was never able to get above 50% it seemed and the defaith/uppershot totally neutered the outgoing damage from Shiva. Had a harder time in wave 2

Nice! Glad you found the guide helpful and even better that you cleared it! I agree that wave 2 is surprisingly much more difficult than the actual Shiva fight; how crazy is that?

Great video. I'm currently working with Tifa as my main healer since I've had awful draws for Prime Number or Fairy Tale. So it definitely makes some of these fights rough.

You haven't gotten any of those?! That IS rough. What is your setup on Tifa for healing?

@Nitelight9 not the 5* version anyway. I just recently was able to upgrade both to their 4* version, but the single heals are party killers one some of the later stages. Right now, I'm running Crystal Gloves MH, Lifeguard Wraps OH, with the Thousand Waves, Guard Stick, and Tranquilizer Gun as subs. For certain fights, it works fine, but when it's big damage, it struggles keeping up with heals. This has been showing up in the last phase of the Sephiroth solo fight.

You can use the 4* version of fairy tale! If you level it up , it will still work better than most other items. It's just so good to have an AOE heal. @@lostwhovian7427

Reroll if you don't have good party heal, I have the same situation as you. Had to use the party heal gloves on my first acc. I rerolled and got fairy tale, life is much easier instead of watching every fight

Great point, man. I did reroll until I got Fairy Tale and Murasame in the very beginning. I think I re-rolled about 15 times. I think that's why I typically assume everyone has access to that weapon >< @@cmkiller5032

My takeaway from every guide video I've seen on this game is, you have to have AoE Heal.

Exactly. I dont have Fairy Tale or Prime Number. Luckily I had Tifas event weapon tho. I leveld it Up to lvl 80 and Put Like 1400 heal skill on Tifa,she made the difference allowing me to beat very hard content

What was the glitch? Can you upload video of it?

If you go toward the second half of the fight, you will see it. Basically, after you break her sigils there is a chance that she just freezes permanently for the rest of the fight--and you can just damage her down without her attacking or casting anything. I don't know why it happened, but it happened two fights in a row for me while I was recording this video, so I figured it was more than just a one-off thing. I've also had this happen on the Sephiroth EX2 fight. So it is a reoccurring glitch--I just don't know what triggers it.

@@powerzx Totally understand, I died to those mobs at least 5 times before I finally made it to Shiva and I swear they are more difficult than her! What is your total power for the team you are using? One very helpful tip that I mention in the video is the mobs are easier to survive if you can DPS one of them down relatively early on in the fight (hence why I start with Tifa's limit in room 2)

@@Nitelight9 I have about 110k attack power now, I had less when I tried to fight Shiva. 55th level cap will be unlocked soon, so I hope that will help me. :)
