Ahoy my friends! Today I will be reviewing the Aerith Limit Break Draw Banner with her new weapon, the Bahamut Rod! Definitely an interesting one, but there's a lot of things to look at with this weapon overall, so let's dive straight into it! PS: I forgot to evaluate the costume guys, so here's my take!! The costume is going to be 10/10 in almost any content in the game. There might be CERTAIN content where Kamura Dress is preferred, but the fact that she can defensively improve herself, alongside healing, + boost attack for the entire team is absolutely incredible for Aerith's builds. I just got the weapon. The ATB boost is for everyone except for her, so you don't have to choose and it's more powerful. What I loved about this weapon is that it does so many things at once. PDEF up, heal, MATK all, boost heal single, esuna all and ATB boost.

The one major sell point for Aeriths wand is the healing Esuna on all, especially when we actually get a full Esuna Materia. Right now, we only have the individual heals, but in the actual PlayStation game there is an Esuna Materia which heals most all status ailments. Matts centipede is a weapon that does essentially the same thing with a slightly higher heal rate minus the mag attack all bonus. Clouds weapon is very useful because its damage is guaranteed no matter the enemies resistance. Although, I did see this damage cut in half with some of the debuffs in the last battle ranking. Having three costumes is essential if players can afford it as the bonuses from those costumes alone is insane.

The way I think of OB6 vs OB10, is that while 90% is nice, if you’re not getting your health below 70%, the fight isn’t that hard and you probably don’t really need the extra ATB help anyway. So OB6 is perfectly fine for harder content. Of course, there will be some cases like guild battles, where you aren’t worried about dying, but just want to do max damage. It can help there, but still not necc

Also, most people aren't going to drop their 5ATB cost heal at 90% HP, so in a lot of ways the 70% is more effective and realistic, however in those instances where you are getting the extra atb boost above 70 it will still be super helpful

What also adds a lot of value to the weapon is the Esuna all slot. In the future, that can save 6 atb to full cleanse the entire team.

This weapon not designed as a main buff weapon. It's used to heal and enabling party member like when you need to destroy sigil asap before die from enemy aoe damage. Aerith will still use Kamura as her main buff weapon for now.

Stamp luck went 2, 2, 3, 3, 3 and I got out at OB1. Honestly insane luck I've been having with stamps this event - cleared to the gear on all 3 and I'm maybe 3-4k crystals down from where I was when it started. If this carries over into the Tifa banner I might be doing card 2 for all of them.

Time for my pull update, kept you informed on previous anni banners so let's keep it going 😂 I got really lucky with stamps on this 1, even saw a black choco which gave 5! Ended at card 2 stamp 4, used like 140 aerith weapon parts and purchased 2x weapon offer to save on weapon parts. Currently at ob6 and have enough parts to go to ob10 but would love to save some off those weapon parts for the future so now waiting to see if I need to use all crystals on tifa as I only have 399 tifa parts saved and as you said chances are her weapon will be the best so might take all crystals to get towards ob10 with some purchases

Nice video bro. I agree that centipede is better. But i think looking at only Aerith it's way better than her saving grace weapon and pairing it with Kamura wand, she covers both pdef and mdef lol. I look at this weapon more as a replacement for Fairy Tale, and a great one at that. Centipede wil be better in certain content, but this will likely take its place beside it very soon with its cool gimicks and esuna all.

I still think this has way more to offer than centipede. Sure the extra 10% pdef on centipede is nice to have, but considering all of the crash Carries people were able to join bringing a sub ob6 Matt, high tier pdef is almost never absolutely required to clear content. Sub ob6 centipede is mid to mid pdef, which is exactly the same as bahamut rod once you ob6 it. Even over ob6, centipede still requires 2 casts to get up to high mdef, so bahamut rod will help you clear pdef debuffs in exactly the same amount of casts while also giving more atb to your party to do other things if you’re in need of a heal too. If you only plan on getting it to ob0-5 then yea centipede will still be better in most cases for pdef, but if you plan to ob6+ it then it has almost the same functionality as centipede with extra bonuses

I know u want the costume, it is very good for Aerith if u want to play her. About the weapon well...looks like the weapon is not very good until OB6...if it wouldnt have esuna(all) I would say its just mid tier...I also think we will get more weapons with esuna(all) from now on.

I’m not sold on the weapon. I’m sure I’d miss the atb boost. Like with the recent ranking, but I don’t know. For one thing, you need ob10 for 59% heal. Fine for a regular weapon. Kinda hard on a limited one. Though it would be nice to have a matk party buff mainhand where I normally would have to make them sub weapons for hard content. That last point is the only reason I’d get it. Waiting for tifa’s cuz I might skip Aerith’s. Pdef aoe is just a bonus. Though I know the devs will punish me for not having the extra atb.

I do talk about it, i don't think that it necessarily makes up for the PDEF mid, for instance in a fight with no status effects it does nothing, but it is DEFINITELY an amazing Support materia ability slot!

I look it like this. I've been a day 1 Cloud and Aerith player. Tifa, I have hardly anything built for her. Shes level 80, but thats mostly it. For me I'm waiting to get my crystal's to pull on Aerith banner to try and get it OB10. If young Angeal comes after, I have saved 6 weapon exchange tickets. so I can get one of his new weapons to OB6 easy when it comes to the shop. I feel like I will waste crystal's if I haven't built Tifa up.

Ah don't worry about it. You can slowly start to build Tifa in time, but i would work on what your strong with first and foremost. Besides, if you're a Cloud/Aerith player then this weapon is great as it is a fantastic replacement for Fairy Tale

It can be for the 2K packs or sometimes 2.5K packs. Basically its an exchange of red crystals for 10 pull tickets that can be used on banners. A way of saving blue crystals

If u need to take negative debuff to positive. Just use lb3 and 1 kamura which is why aerith is superior to matt in ramuh ex2 and b100. Same for this weapon u lb3 and 1 cast baha rod

Yes, this is a viable strategy, however for something like the Behemoth Steward Crash, this would not be viable. The LB is a one time thing, if you are combating consistent PDEF down from the enemies, then it gets incrementally harder

Centipede is mid to high doesn’t start with high, for the rest I agree, don’t know why it doesn’t go high… every super high lvl content like crash etc needs high and lower lvl content doesn’t even need those kind of stats so I’m wondering WTF is this weapon for?

The fact that Centipede goes mid-high gives it that edge that I think will still make it relevant in certain fights. I will say that the weakest thing about this weapon is the PDEF mid maximum, and that'll come back later for us to deal with. To answer your question though, this weapon is for things to come i imagine!

@@19Andre87 we will definitely need PDEF high still, but its not always necessary especially if we aren't dealing with PDEF Breaks on our own team and having to recover from that + buff into the positive. This weapon will showcase itself in the added DPS it brings to the team, along with the AoE Esuna (then the PDEF is just a bonus on top of that in most cases i would say)

Depends on how long you've been playing. I would say clearing story, clear all the first quests of any mission in the game you haven't done, pair up in coop for every new person you play with gives free crystals, that's probably the most straightforward way
