Bltz love your work esp strat battles, here's my thoughts: FF7 *Remanation* for part 3 > Connected to Sephiroth/boss fight crater. Will only explain if BltzZ asks. FF& Rebirth for part 2 > Seph Bizzaro is transliterated as Seph Rebirth > Also where Arieth is "rebirthed" FF7 Remake for part 1 > J.dreamweaver > actual is J.Pulse, specifically pulse of embryo b4 turning 2 fetus. falls in line with Seph being injected w J.cells pre-fetus stage. Comments: The naming of the games falls in line with Jenova/Sephiroth's actions/state as well as how Arieth and the timeline/s fight back. (Note: Sephiroth boss names stay true to OG translation, Jenova's does not > d.weaver, emergent,lifeclinger). Note: Part 3 will prob cover conversations where: 1.) Arieth,Yuffie and Red were resting for 2 hours at the temple > what they talked abt. 2.) Scenario of sending Arieth off into pool at endgame 3.) The flowers are the way Aerith is allowing access to the other worlds as she pushes Cloud through them in that one world. She mentions in Remake that people used to give these flowers to each other when they "reunite"

The Church is no longer a safe haven. Sephiroth knows where she was hiding now and thats why during the scene where Cloud wakes up with Aerith and she pushes him through the flower portal you see Sephiroth come in and its to KILL HER FURTHER BACK IN THE TIME LINE.

Oh yeah just wanted to say before you head on the show with Max and the others, bring up this point see what they say… If Zack created new worlds with all the key decisions he made then Cloud would have definitely created a new world or two when he’s at the ancient altar praying when the whispers were trying to make him strike down Aerith, so there could possibly be one where he did, which would be a very dark timeline indeed… But if you notice at the forgotten capital when cloud intercepts Sephiroths blade and he appears to save Aerith the timeline then appears to auto correct itself and I don’t know if it’s just me but the whispers that appeared in this scene were white ones and not the darker ones Sephiroth controls. It’s almost as if Aerith’s death is a fixed point in time and cannot be changed without creating a paradox so I think Cloud DID save Aerith but then the timeline rewrote itself to prevent this possible paradox. We’ve seen these “fixed points” in other shows like Doctor Who… So one of two things happened there, the auto correct I mentioned above which is likely because Sephiroth seems happy when Cloud deflects his blade from Aerith then when everything auto corrects he looks at his blade with a kind of curiosity when it’s covered in blood thinking “well ok that’s something”… The other thing that could have happened is that Cloud is experiencing multiple different realities at once but I like the first part more…. Oh the last other thing, if new worlds can now be formed then what’s the chances that in one of them Sephiroth was told Lucrecia was his mother and not Jenova?… or possibly one where Genesis was successful in crisis core?… but my favourite one would be the one I hinted at above, the one timeline where the whispers forced Cloud to strike down Aerith giving the universe a dark cloud… And if these worlds are indeed merging during the reunion then it’ll be wild in part 3… Also at the start of rebirth during the news cast “the tornado ripped through sector 1, 2 and 3, weren’t deep ground kept underground against their will in sector 1 at the underground reactor?… so what’s the chances Deepground are loose in Midgar which is why Shinra don’t have the resources to track down Sephiroth…

I like the idea I’ve heard that instead of Cloud just disappearing at the Nothern Crater and ending up in Mideel, he full-on attacks the party. Then maybe the team ends up knocking Cloud into the lifestream at the end of the fight. It would be a cool fight and would also fill in the gap of how he wound up in Mideel instead of staying at Sephiroth’s side or merging with Jenova.

Sales lag isn't terribly surprising. Many people that played Remake still haven't been able to get a PS5, whether because of costs, supply, or just waiting for the Pro version. Also, Remake released during the gaming boom of the Pandemic. Lastly, this point is purely anecdotal, but I do know a couple people that said they would wait until part 3 releases or for a trilogy release because they didn't want to play it in parts (I call it KH Syndrome)

Part 3 is getting finished no matter what and is planned to deliver, whether it meets players expectations is another story since fans dont know what the F they want. There were haters for part 1 and haters for part 2 so we are for sure getting haters for part 3, they continue buying the games even tho they hated the first two parts. Sales of rebirth will have ZERO impact on the quality of part 3, it would be silly to think otherwise, this title is not just any title it’s FF7 for crying out loud, they are not cutting corners with a game of this magnitude and part 1 and 2 proved that. Not saying it will be flawless but it’s safe to assume that they will deliver like how they did with rebirth.

I love that theory where Zack is now in the Beagle timeline, where Cloud and party are currently in. They are heading to the Northern Continent while Zack is in Midgar. At some point, Zack would start asking people about Cloud and the party and eventually will lead him to go on this adventure of his own to go find Cloud and he would visit all of the places that Cloud has went to and in Gongaga he will meet up with Cissnei and boy oh boy I want to see that interaction with those two and Zack meeting with his family. It will a tear jerker moments. He will met Dio in Gold Saucer, Johnny in Costa del Sol. After at some point, the party will meet up with Zack and then he questioned about Aerith absence and they told him the truth. Oh man the possibilities are endless !! Part 3 is going to be epic ❤❤

around 9:20 with the discussion of worlds. I think the stars indicate what world it is, so with the pug world having 6 stars i think there are at least 6 and not 5 as mentioned Beagle has 5, Terrier has 4, Pug has 6, Chihuahua shows 3 (but isnt that not the right breed?), we cant see the Corgi's stars due to how Johnny is holding it) and I believe the world Zack ends up in at the very end is actually a different one than any he has been in before. but also... its definitely gonna be 7 worlds in the end right... cuz FF 7, so I think we are still missing one

The only thing I would add is that the devs have now confirmed that the rainbow effect is indeed 'a thing' - which would seem to lend credibility to the idea that Aerith's 'alive path' did indeed happen and that it wasn't just in Cloud's head. I also doubt that Sep has managed to unite all worlds, as this was his end game. It would seem odd to me that he has achieved this so early.

Bltzz I think cloud seeing the crack is an indication that he’s aware of the merging of worlds and that means he’s influenced by the other worlds. Meaning he’s aware Aerith is dead but not dead showing he’s not grieving and may want the worlds to actually merge. That’s why he doesn’t tell the others he put the black material into his blade. It also gives meaning to Tifa’s vision of cloud going with sephrioph and he might be doing this not to aid sephrioph but his own goals in keeping his promise this entire time with making a world they all can be happy with.

Regarding the Water burial of aerith, you actually saw it ! i replayed FF 7 Remake Part 1. Cloud has near the end a vision of the future which shows for 1-2 secs the water burial in the future. so it will be shown but most likely in the beginning of part 3.

I think third game is going to be called either Return or Rebuild. Also, I kind of noticed a potencial plothole in Rebirth regarding Cissnei. In Rebirth, she mentions that she has been living in Gongaga for around a year or so. If some of the events of Crisis Core happened in Rebirth timeline, then she living in Gongaga makes zero sense. In Crisis Core, when Zack escaped from Nibelheim, Cissnei found him while he was en route to Gongaga, all this events happened weeks before the bombing of Mako Reactor 1. Also, Cissnei, Reno, Rude and Tseng were looking for Zack at least until a few days before the events of the bombing of Mako Reactor 1. In Rebirth Tseng does mention that he did keep an eye on Aerith, just as in Crisis Core he promised to do that for Zack. So if Cissnei was still active with the Turks mere days before the bombing of Mako Reactor 1, How is it that she has been living in Gongaga for about a year and basically got inactive with the Turks? Now, there are ways to explain this, and probably it will sort of be explained in the third part, they kind of gave us a hint, Cissnei is able to watch the Whispers, just like Rufus was able to, but not Tseng or others.

Aerith exactly is stopping him. She has the same abilities as sephiroth, she can control clouds mind whenever she wants. Aerith has the ability to leave behind remnants of herself. She has a plan to stop sephiroth and she doesnt want cloud to get her way. But we cant know for sure until part 3 comes out. There is a chance that aerith bringing cloud into the lifestream, into her "dream" has allowed sephiroth to find where aerith essentially "lives" within the life stream. What does that mean? And why does she tell cloud that his world is like a second home to her? Is she stuck in our world now? Did sephiroth merge her world with ours? The only thing i can think of is: aerith wont return to the lifestream at the end, she doesn't have to worry about sephiroth anymore when we finally defeat him and jenova for good. Cloud will regain his memories and we will give aerith a final farewell, she will find her promised land. It will be an emotional scene as I'd assume tifa and the gang will get to see her 1 last time, we will also see what actually happened at the forgotten capital, and hopefully see aerith reuniting with her mother at the promised land. I love the ending to rebirth, I'm glad it left us confused, and I'm OK with aeriths death not being so impactful. She's gonna be present through all of part 3, why have us cry over her death only for her to come back straight away? A final farewell would be so much more impact full, and I'm all for it

Holy could be a "buff+heal to all allies" (low potency) with a big single-target long-cast alternate spell and Black could be a "all debuffs all enemies" (low potency) with a big explosion long-cast alternate!

I highly highly doubt Zack is in the same world as the main party by the end of Rebirth, as the dialogue "just as worlds unite, so too do they part" Sephiroth separated Cloud and Zack into their respective worlds and this is further cemented with Zack saying "but who is to say they can not reunite again?" meaning they are not currently reunited, still separate.

I loved this game, and at first i was a bit conflicted about the ending, but the more time passed, the more i enjoyed it. I think not everything needs to be explained straight away and that there is, sometimes, an obssession with explaining things to the player and that leading to excessive monologues or just not allowing things to me mysterious. I played the original for the first time a few months ago in preparation for Rebirth and i remember being very confused by some aspects at this point in that story, so i think they're doing these changes to create a similar feeling on everyone, including fans of the orignal There is an argument to be made about the impact of the moment during the scene, and this is no excuse to not allow criticism of this ending, but i like the way they're showing death with a different perspective, showing the Denial stage from the perspective of the character with a broken mind. I think they could start part 3 similar to how they started Rebirth: Show this scene but from a different perspective different than cloud. No "jenova-headache", no flashes. show it from a perspective of another character and just the kill happening, no cuts back and forth realities. And then as the game continues, go back to showing things from Cloud's perspective, seeing Aerith and the world shattered. Now the thing that i think was my most disliked about the ending segmens is that they put a multi-hour segment in the Temple and then another hour long segment in the end with very little time to decompress or allow the player to slow down for a moment. I think the Bronco was a bit underutilized, so i think it would have been a good idea if they had Cloud unconscious but make us board the Bronco and phisically navigate it through the sea for the forest. This would allow the player to have some extra time to think about things on the way and an opportunity to see more characters other than Cloud interacting among themselves on the way there. I wouldn't want them to force the played to go elsewhere, just to make us actually move and not have a little time skip that puts us already in front of the next big thing. Also no Forgotten City sound track was a crime to me. I was eagerly waiting to listen to it in Rebirth and they took it away :/ I am very excited for the podcast! \o/

I finished Rebirth yesterday & was so exhausted by the end. Not just with the end fight but also the repetitive grind needed for the platinum. Having to go back to the Golden Saucer for a 3rd TIME to get high scores on the same games, the amount of colosseum battles, the fact that even after beating the summons to get the materia you have to fight them again - IN PAIRS - AND they even through some out during the final battle.....it's just a bleak mountain of unnecessary reputative gameplay which has massively put me off going for the Platinum. Such a shame the negative feelings we outweighing the positive at the end for me. Will have to revisit in a few months time to see if I'm prepared to go for it

I hope the Cloud psyche chapter of the eventual part 3 have a more in depth trouble including a “sephiroth” that tries to destroy the repair. How even greater if all the party was there, or even a time displaced or Lifestream Aerith and Zack. to see the truth but also help Cloud get the strength to destroy the “sephiroth” within him. Maybe there are 7 worlds, and the conclusion is the story how the worlds, became the final fantasy

Redemption is a good one❤ Revenge- Remaster- Remorse- Retribution- Return- I didn’t even consider that Aerith in the dream sequence during remake the OG Aerith but it totally makes sense and since this was a dream sequence in Rebirth as well makes sense again. I am kind of sick of FF7 content right now. and the graphics just.-I am afraid they’re going to completely kill the mood for me and I’d rather not read subtitles over having actual voice acting. thinking the white whispers are also congenially, all whispers are, 'controlled by' or rather 'are kinetic representations thrust into being'(the guy has created his own aura of fate) by sephiroth. the thing is, now cloud has the white materia to summon the weapons from, so aerith can't from the lifestream, with him 'theoretically' being 1/16 cetra i foresee a disaster. especially with aerith being 1/2 ancient, and the weapons were weak enough they didn't do shit. i need to get me some white materia to converse with souls.

Did they ever address the DLC cutscene with Zack in the Church? As in when that took place? After playing Rebirth, I imagine it was after Aerith was about to be sent to the shadow realm by Sephiroth (the scene when she gives Cloud the white Materia). Breh, maybe I’m just trippin 😂

Being able to open the menu between the boss fights is a nice touch but the game doesn't save your equipment setup after the change which is still annoying

Im definitely loving the Remake series of 7 but it does make me wonder what would happen to a remake of 9. Its one i would hope is a more faithful recreation to the riginal and just very upgraded and possibly fleshed out without breaking the story. 9 is my fav of them all and i hope to see it one day and to see BltzZ play through

A very Nice video I can say 💯💯 But in my opinion I think that before explaining the end and finding information about the third part of the FFVII remake trilogy we have to find an explanation for the opening first. In the opening we see Zack survive (which was cool) and carrying poisoned Cloud and when he reaches Midgar he sees the News That shows Avalanche ,Aerith and Red XIII being taken on helicopters And they say that the terrorist who still out there is an Ex-soldier who carries a Buster SWORD. but if cloud was with Zack and he never carried the buster sword yet because he is still poisoned and zack is still alive carrying his Blade One more thing how did Avalanche get to know Aerith if they haven't met cloud yet who is still poisoned if they didn't know Aerith then why did they break into Shinra HG and how who's that soldier?!!. If someone happens to have and explanation for me I would be happy to know it

A good name for Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 would be Final Fantasy VII Resurrection. Also, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion actually came out almost a year and a half ago, not two years ago.

I still think resurgence is very fitting. To rise again. Very fitting in my opinion, with how the prefixes of these games is basically all mean the same thing as remake, but also have their own meta meaning. Also think it sounds cooler than return, which is pretty much the same thing The resurgence of Sephiroth, Weapons, Meteor, Holy, Even the lifestream as it comes from the planet to protect it from the meteor.

I don’t think there are 2 if you remember from the original sephiroth is not physically there he’s in the northern crater so cloud couldn’t physically give him the materia best guess is that cloud had it on him from that scene all the way till we see him with it

My personal prediction for part 3 is Final Fantasy VII: Requiem. A requiem is a mass or musical composition for the dead. Cloud has to accept reality and understand that Aerith as he knew her is gone. He has to allow himself to mourn and move past that tragedy.

FF7 Remembrance. Been calling it for a couple years. Especially with this ending, Cloud is going to have to remember what happened as well as the fact that the lifestream is a collection of memories.
