I'll have to see what I can figure out. I had a similar idea after a few attempts for the first phase, but second phase was kinda beating the shit out of me. Seems I need to up my aggression to a degree.

​@@SPM-tvyeah, I was in the same boat. Gotta be a melee fight. Blowing my MP on thundering the mob before had me drained. I did sleek saber, all the purple boost materia, elemental thunder on armor (solely for defense), and steadfast block. Kinda like a bullfight. Let him charge in, block, then counter with favorite weapon moves. His thunder attack doesn't really matter cuz of the build. I staggered him after the animation so I could actually kill him off with just one. Fun fight when it clicked. But yeah. I dunno how you could have freaking full MP at that point haha. I was using MP absorb.

For anyone else reading about this, if you put Elemental - Lightning on your armor and use Chakra for healing you can absolutely beat him with 0 mp I just did it second try
