This video helped massively, especially in the last round, thank you! Managed to take a break after Bahamut and get past Odin easily by following the same method. This trophy is horrific. Now just to complete the rest of the story on hard mode, which should be easy in comparison… 😅

OK, so you have hotkeyed the limit siphon and limit break, and you time the attacks and switch characters to make it as cinematic as possible. I see what you doing, and I love it!

looking back on it in retrospect, the shorthand between Cloud and Sephiroth in their battle styles is even more seamless and awesome than any other pair in the entire anthology of this series. The way they take control and concede control to each other is built on years of trust and loyalty. It’s poetic. 😅

Is it just me or is the Limit Break Sephiroth using here when fighting King Zu longer?! O_O the extra swirls he does? I did this same method and I finished the VR's ty for this!

My whole body is trembling right now! Unbelievable, I've finally finally done it and finished the combat simulator! I spent 4 days on it and it was the hardest trophy in my life. I even found Sekiro and Armored Core 6 easier. And those were my top picks! I don't know why but I had fewer problems with "Bond of Friendship"! In the end I managed it on my own and that's thanks to you and your guides. You really have to train yourself for a while to learn the tactics and get reflexes for Sephiroth. But you really helped me a lot! I really have to thank you for that! I I was just about to give up with a heavy heart. Then I thought, let's give it one last try. And this one was also very bumpy up to Odin. For example, I only got further with Kujata with the rearise spell. I don't find him that easy, because he roars and changes his elements so quickly. And you don't always have 2 full ATB bars at the right time. If you change 4 times, he does his Instant Kill. And the Jabberwock, I didn't find him that easy either, because he can petrify one or both with his normal attacks. Alexander went pretty well thanks to Sephiroth, but sometimes it's pretty stupid how it works. I personally don't find Bahamut that difficult. I rarely died there, because the process is always the same. So like with Bond of Friendship! It just drags on. And with Allfather Odin, you really need a lot of luck. And everything has to go well! I usually got to his spatial Distortion, then he cast the Temporal Imprisonment. And shortly after that, usually Zantetsuken. The funny thing was with Odin: I did the whole thing at work during the night shift via my portal. And with Odin, just before his shock. As I was whirling around with Sephiroth, the picture suddenly started to chop. I quickly pressed option. Then the connection was lost. When I was connected to my PS5 again, it said " Breaks Menu". Because I crashed like that with Bahamut and then died. But now it's done and my head and soul are free of this torture again. Something like that can really weigh on me mentally 😅 even if it's just a game. Final Fantasy VII, especially the original, is very, very important to me, and that's how I discovered my love of Japanese RPGs as a kid. Now I can devote myself to the rest of the chapters on difficult in peace. Thank you again, and to everyone else: good luck! Don't lose heart. You'll do it!

How do you build Sephiroth's limit break? I can't seem to send Sephiroth into the air and do that slashing while dodging trick.

You attack until your charge gauge is full (blue bar on the bottom left) then spam dodge and triangle. Your limit will fill up pretty quickly.

The dodge slash trick, you have to let the attack complete then the limit build fast, you can't just spam dodge and triangle, but since there's no one mention, I think everyone already know. Because the first time I tried this trick, I just keep spamming dodge and triangle.

Keep in mind. The gauge will get drained if you get hit. In that case start the process described above over.

By the way, thank you... Breezed through this tonight. Going for the last fight now, Bonds of Friendship. Trying Clouds Wind build with the Rune Blade, but if that fails I may try to incorporate Limit Siphon like you did here.

I'm not sure if siphon method is applicable in Bonds of Friendship since Zach can't build limit as fast as Sephiroth you can only make Zack support to Cloud since Cloud is your main Damager...

Idk I used high braver and keep cloud as support mostly with a physical build. Re-raise magic efficiency and a heal and revive on cloud makes it near impossible to die if tryin. Then of course fire ice elemental Game 8 is the website I've been using to modify my builds it's basically like the reasonable version of a build that you can see on KZbin that goes step by step it's cool! @@bossbattlegameplay

Once you break the shield tighten is extremely susceptible to focus thrust also make sure you are in prime mode at the beginning of the battle also block at every opportunity that you cannot absolutely Dodge Magnify heal on cloud Fire elemental and lightning elemental in armor (also for cast) Warding linked to poison and petrify Umbral Blade if you need more defense Enhanced expeditionary medal Strength up if you are using umbral blade A lot of these enemies can be stopped Make sure to use three ATB on each character so that you get this energy skill that gives sephiroth unlimited MP I do what you want to throw up a manawall l and curaga with your unlimited. Do it again for reraise on sephiroth and cloud to ensure survival on Odin bcuz he's the last one *These methods are good up until bahamut, I got stuck in that round At least have steadfast block and practice against Titan, bahamut, Phoenix Alexander and kujata AND ODIN in the simulator. You'll be a god. if I can't beat that after 3 or 4 more attempts I'm gonna use the sim to practice especially ODIN! PS: I noticed that seph dies faster than cloud because he doesn't have the elemental fire ice and elemental lightning and wind in the armor so it may be a good idea to have revive on cloud. MP conservation prayer and or chakra the only element you really need is wind and thunder you can let seph handle the ice if it won't fit. Forget about the genji gloves you can do around 16 to 18 k with the fast MP buildup from prime mode and shift slash or by having ATB assist on cloud I hate this fight lol. It is better to be prepared and skilled it makes for more enjoyable fight

It’s so easy! I beat him and the entire missions Sephiroth solo. I can beat Titán without taking any damage. U should be able to dodge all of Titans attacks with Sephiroth. He’s too fast for Titan!
