FFA are fun but I really like the 1v1s. Almost all the other people I see doing 1v1 ranked do not talk. It is just watching some APM monster mad click in near silence for 20-45 min. Your free flow casting as you play is why you are No.1 favorite of anyone that discovers your channel!

would be tyrant if he used them to win the game instead of throwing by not having map awareness and not thinking about win con... in game chat clearly stated yellow is being 2v1, it was also clear byzantines will lack resources after that prolonged combat and ezra had mid whole time... even if they had another 10 minutes they couldnt do it. Turin could have easily won the game - ezra was clearly waiting to wonder once japanese guy dies, but he doesnt know when that happenes, Turin does, could have easily started building wonder few seconds before finishing his last landmark. Yellow would be dead or with nearly nothing, Byzantines as well, Ezra very far and its victory for Turin.

The reason joan is either op or weak is based off how people play against her. I have games where she gets level 4 in feudal and i have games where i cant get her to level 3 when playing against her turtling is extremely effective. Most pro's either dont feed her xp or they age up to castle before she becomes a tyrant. Zhu chi with their fast castle can give joan a run for her money. That and chinese eco is very strong. At the highest level she doesn't win too much. I think the real barons of 1v1 are the ayyubids

Oof it's funny the decisions people make in the FFAs sometimes, Dox just handed a free win to Ezra in that game by going after yellow - surely that was obviously going to happen, without orange to threaten him anymore also. A real pity you weren't able to get a win with that crazy relic start! Cool game though.

2:52:00 you won not because you both had 2tc, but because of when you got 2tc, your timing with it got you around 20 extra vills, which really made the difference

I am trying to get into AoE4 but it just hurts my 48 year old brain. Too much going on for my brain, its running on 70's technology. I managed to beat ai on hardest difficulty. i want to try beat the next level up before trying people.

So, from 38 year old brain, I get it. But honestly if you're beating Hardest AI, you're probably already playing at a Silver level. Just pick a civ you enjoy and are familiar with and jump in!

7 relics is an incredible start to the game. Immmpressive. The spawn for that Zhu Chi was ridic. 4 gold/stone nodes round the back and so close. Very hard

Ha that one guy could not figure out how he lost. With 0 relics vs 5, having his 2nd TC WAY later, losing dozens of villagers, having no sacred sites vs 1-2 for most of the game and a 3rd near the end, investing heavily in early units and doing no damage, etc...
