hello, dear forum-mate. 😅 ... right. The first time i tried with a EX1 FF (so, I tried her ability chains), I actually failed, to my great surprise. Thought the game was power-creeped by then, but ... that experience showed that it's still not so powercreeped. Ended up using Sinzar's Hyoh template, and learned another thing - Hyoh's Omni-Killers (and AoE LB) did/still do make a huge diff, man. Anyway, I got even lazier and just use Light for all the anni fights (w/Hyoh). Except for the dragon one which needed Kaito to get rid of the miti (Crashing Wave would work already, i think, so just Repeat all the way~!), it's all good. Celeste with just that 35% Light buff, mind you. Too lazy to change the last one to 100% Light buff, ha. 😅

Yeah, these trials were crept when Hyoh released. All the damage these days comes from LBs, abilities for the most part still lag way behind LB dmg.

@@SartreBraveX ... and so EX2 is important. Right. Thinking of clearing those Purge-y trials objectives. Elite Soldiers are surely easy now. Then, just a matter of picking the others.

I took two ex+1 clives for grace of flame.. 40 billion/36 billion/20 billion due to no machine killer. Had Hyoh for the tag chain. But yeah. We got some heavy firepower now considering both are ex+2 for me.

I tried out double Clive with Hyou and ran into some issuses. Melissa and Xon for killers, Reberta for Imbue and additional support. Originally tried to make use of Ingus but didn't have EX2 so it didnt go well. Tried Xon and got to the last stage where I left the last boss on 10%. After that I pretty much can't do anything because of the 300% Defense boost the gets after the first turn. Any tips?

@@blueflare3299 sahz (ex+2 will work, but ex+3 is preferable due to the machine killer. Ihana, and Avan. If you have mp reduction on sahz, use his elemental power fire for the bigger amp on one of the Clive's every turn.

@@blueflare3299 xon, Melissa will work, fundamental force should work considering she has the field and a 300% Atk and lb damage boost.

@@VM-gy8bm The issue is that FF is only EX1, so no warring spirit. Once I get to the second fight I take a turn to put up Hyou's field and Clive's LB Field. And I cant eek out an extra turn before Bursting down the Machina boss. Its like I'm one step away from figufing this out but I'm missing something.

Unfortunately Kaito is the only one that can remove that DEF/SPR buff from the first boss, otherwise you have to wait a few turns for it to expire. You can also just try brute forcing thru the buff, which might honestly be possible with how strong FF is, but still might take a few turns. Yeah, she was the June Crest Free Unit so you should have her by now, but if you missed her for some reason you can put Celeste in her place.
