Ffestiniog Railway Gravity Train

A few months ago I was placed on an empty slate wagon and let loose along the Ffestiniog Railway! Well almost... it was actually being controlled by brakemen and was completely safe!
The award winning gravity train is a recreation of the gravity trains that operated along the original line. Wagons would be filled with slates at Blaenau Ffestiniog and gravity would propel the full wagons down to Harbour Station in Porthmadog ready to be loaded on boats to be shipped around the world.
I was there as part of my volunteering work for the Railway's Moving Pictures Team. I am a very lucky girl I know....

Very nice weather for traveling in open carriages - not so nice in the rain , but enjoy the Train ride, I'm enjoying it.

So genuine nerdy question, the ride looks really smooth considering the lack of suspension apart from the Garnedd tunnel. is this because of image stabilisation working well in bright light, or is the tunnel session just that bumpy?

I think it must be the image stabilisation because it was bumpy all the way down.
