Thank you for doing a video on this my friend :) I wanted to be up here for my channel but sadly couldn't. The best I got was seeing a bus on the tracks on the webcam on Friday ;P

Problem with Lilla so Linda had to rescue it? I don't know people living nearby put up with that crossing warbler, which must be the world's loudest.

I don't think they mind. They don't resent having to speak English to visitors as Welsh (Yr Iaith Gymraeg) is clearly locals' first language. A "Diolch yn fawr" (Thanks a lot) goes a long way here!

They're not even on full volume - they're not too loud when you're in a building or not standing directly by them. It's ultimately an audible warning for pedestrians rather than motorists, has to meet regulations. I operated the crossing hundreds of times 2011 to 2017 and assisted with the odd bit of maintenance on occasion.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to find out. She certainly didn't appear to be steaming well and the whole train was rescued by Linda

Lilla was subsequently dragged to Boston Lodge

Injector failure at Pont Croesor. I was the Porthmadog Signalman on the Friday.
