I will guess, nothing about Armada either? Sad and dark times. I never played a table top game until Star Wars Armada and X-Wing. I only collected the Battletech Mechs to paint, but looking to start playing it. Otherwise, nothing else is interesting or appealing at all. Not 40k, D&D, Magik, or whatever.

It's really sad, FFG didn't have much to talk about at all. In the not so distant past the in flight report was a big deal for Gen COn. Asmodee totally gutted this company and this is a slow death at this point.

I feel like you are only setting yourself up for disappointment if you expect that Legends of the Force set to be stuff from the old EU. This is just vibes of course but I wouldn’t expect Disney to ok it.

I wouldn't get overly excited about 'Legends'. They did 'Tales of the Jedi' but that was nothing like the old comics. Great if it happens, but probably not. However, Hasbro still seems to get away with using legends material though.

Asmadae made FFG the card game company way back when they look their miniatures games away. The only reason they released any board games since then is because they are already working on them.

Sad to see how far FFG has fallen. I remember when they had so many products and the In-Flight report generated so much excitement. X-Wing, Imperial Assault, etc. Now it is just dumb Star Wars Unlimited that will be dead in 3 to 4 years just like every other Star Wars product they produce.

Highly probable. I like the mechanics for now but it has it's issues. Magic can be produced indefinitely, they just create a new plane with new themes but how long will you be able to produce a Star Wars card game if you pump everything in the set as they are doing since the very first one?

agree... the only "new" thing is the simplistic, cartoony art style, which sometimes even seems like unifinished... miss old ffg art curators-editors... they really managed to push the line

@@javierbeverido4579 Not just unfinished, sometimes even downright derpy. Han artworks i.e. often look really bad, the Slave Revolt card with the Twi'lek the same, what's going on with her legs/feet there?. Tagge is also a prime example of how a card should not look like. It's really like comic panels, artworks that have to be produced fast and thus lack the quality which usually goes into the cover art. I have the nearly complete Star Wars LCG and it's just night and day between them.

Star Wars Unlimited is an amazing game that is going to die slowly and I'm sad because of it. It has zero retail boxes. Disney Lorcana has amazing retail products. Where are yours Unlimited? Unlimited only has Booster boxes, 2 player starter sets and pre-lease kits. I shouldn't even count the prerelease kits because those are for opening release dates(zero reprints). So with so little product how is under printing a problem?? That reason alone is why Local game stores are struggling to keep a following in this game. Some of my local game stores don't even bother with ordering unlimited because they gave them a cap on how much product they can order 😐...let that sink in...Sorry for the Rant 😅. I just really like this game and care more than the people in charge of it.

When SW Unlimited started FF didn't expect sell out. I like buying SW games. This card game is a lot of fun. The characters, character, really are applied in this game and I love it. I just can't believe there are new sets every 4 months. Wow. There goes all my money. Thats one downside but a major downside is the new sets have repeated cards. I really don't like that at all. I love the different art here.

I really wish they would go more the Magic route. The card artwork is alright but compared to the old LCG from a few years back.. well, it's lacking. Some of it looks straight out of a comic book panel (instead of a cover art). It also seems like Twilight of the Republic again features cards that don't fit into the time, which is quiet annoying in my eyes. I hope they start making sets in a more narrow manner, focused on some kind of theme or better a story. Having stuff like Rey, Kylo, Poe pop up in a set that's focused on Mandalorians and Scum/VIllainy is..weird. I really hope that the Legends of the Force is getting into the territory of Mara Jade, Prince Xizor and stuff, which is really great.

I also didn't have that much interest but SW Unlimited has changed that. Lol. The characters are given actions very similar to the movies. This is very strategic and quick fun.

"if you have three or more units you can coordinate" in a game that is nothing but hard removal i suspect this will be a useless ability

Depends on the new token units and how much "Unit Creation" happens in set #3.
