I wish the commentators for any of the other competitive game scenes I follow were as enjoyable to listen to as you guys.

At 4:35, Parasite has 0 virus counters, so how does it trash the Pop-up Window?
@Malv0li011 жыл бұрын
Because the Pop-up window has 0 strength.
@Quidam8611 жыл бұрын
Parasite trashes ice when the ice reaches 0 strength. Because pop-up has a base strength of 0, as soon as you install the parasite it trashes the ice. The same holds true for a rototurret.

Nuts draw for the corp, yes, but the runner made it possible with his mistakes. 1. Installing 2 click intensive economy cards at start (one of which was Kati he didn't initially use) 2. Deciding not to trash the SanSan after it was rezzed and before the second agenda got scored. 3. Testing the Femme on Eli after the corp didn't rez RnD. He was paying 5 credits and 2 clicks for one access, rather than just taking another datasucker and parasiting the Eli, and then checking the hand to your heart's content 4. On the runner's final turn, he gets the fourth datasucker token. The good play here was, run on first click -the corp doesn't rez the ice, screaming an agenda he can score next turn- since now he has 4 datasuckers, he could have destroyed eli and checked the hand 3 times, giving himself just under 50% of a chance to get a potential 1/5 agenda. Thank you for the upload!

At Minute 8 the runner played a data sucker (Cost 1). The runner payed 1 credit to play it. But the data sucker is from a different faction as the runner is (runner green, DSucker orange), and the off faction cost stated on the card is 1, so shouldn't the runner must had payed 2 credits to play data sucker? Secondly: at around 11:35 the runner put his femme fatal programm on his stack, why?
@teamcovenant11 жыл бұрын
Off-faction never affects the cost of a card in Netrunner. The only consideration there is deckbuilding with influence. The Femme goes back on because of the resolution of Test Run.

***** Thx 4 the answers and the well presented footage of the tournaments! I though i have missed the rules onit to be correctly informed, but the question with the influence was too sticky to not ask it, sry :) and thx for noting test run i must have missed that part! cheers!

Why did the Femme token come off of Eli after the Femme was returned to stack? Wouldn't a "When installed" effect remain?

I'm a newbie to this game, could anyone explain the dice on the identity cards?
@teamcovenant8 жыл бұрын
That is being used to track credits (money).

Is this game better or worse than magic? I want to try something new but I might go onto something else.
@teamcovenant10 жыл бұрын
It's... extremely different. We think it's a better game, but it's very hard to compare due to their differences.
@ASteelNeuron10 жыл бұрын
Being in love with both, I think A:NR is a more "adult" game than Magic. Much more thought goes into it, particularly statistics, efficiency, work compression... Magic is extremely simple to play in comparison. Then again, Magic is more predictable and less reliant on luck for the most part, which can be seen as an advantage. I personally prefer A:NR. Magic just doesn't give the same adrenaline boost.

Twitchy perma-shuffle is annoying for these vids, buncha OCD players. Nice to see a Shaper get ruined while trying to setup their fancy pants rig though, due to complete and absolute misplays and poor reading of the game state

Crapy game. Stupid HQ scoring from HB... Result is : no breakers used, no ice rezzed, no surprise. Just boring "scoring from HQ" bullshit. Hate HB.
