I'd swear I remembered Zach saying the promo was an exceptional ("order 3 boxes") way back when during the original announcement 🤔 From the reveal it sounds like it got switched to this Unique promo because of the relevance. If that's the case then what might have happened to that other promo...? Or maybe I'm out of my mind and misremembering 😂

I'm glad the game is good and people are loving it. I wish it had more of the look of the Star Wars LCG though. That game really nailed the look and feel of Star Wars. Unlimited looks more comic book-y.

Just discovered this game. Feel like they do a tremendous job breaking it down and explaining it step by step but I still have no idea what's going on lmao. What a unique game, not sure I've ever seen a system like it. It still has a pretty active online community of hella cool people, looking fwd to giving the game a go.

Interestingly, your suggestions that begin at 1:06:45, the new company running Universus (UVS Games) is taking a more focused and direct approach to card designs in the new sets. In deck building too, in the new Attack on Titan set they announced going forward they would make sets with a focus on only certain resource symbols. I would love to see you guys do a Godzilla vs Rodan stream!

I played this game back in the Sabertooth days. I have fully come back to this game again today in 2024, with Godzilla, Star Trek Lower Decks, and Attack on Titan coming into the game. Universus (UFS) is better than ever!

It's cardboard so it's a hard pass for me, they would never last no matter how thick the cardboard is. I had moving boxes just as thick and they last a year before they started to show damage. I'll stick with plastic, though I'd much rather go for aluminium.

For my birthday my mother bought me 11 packs (maybe 12... whatever birthday it was that year). I pulled Son of Skywalker, Yoda, and IG-88. I have just assumed ever since that Dagobah was a real easy set to get rares.

I went in the loft today and found an old box thats stacked full of battletech cards. Countless numbers of them, hundreds! I remember playing this in the 1990s and being a big fan, my favourite decks being Kurita and Davion. I wouldnt play clan (though i can see I have enough cards for multiple clan decks) but for the life of me I couldnt remember how to play now that I found them. Im in my 50s now and my son is interested in playing so thanks for this video, even if it is 4 years old, for reminding me how to play.
